What a useless useless act, hahaha. I honestly have absolutely no idea what the hell the point of it is. He's a heel who comes out and bitches and moans about how he's not there to entertain you and really gives you a splitting headache do it, then he bitches and moans about how no one takes him seriously, then 90% of the time he loses. When he loses, whatever, you beat this pathetic has-been no one cares about, when he wins, you lost to the doofus. It's not entertaining, it's not good for heat, it doesn't build him up to lose to someone later, it doesn't do anything to build up a face coming after him. It's just a headache-inducing waste of time. Holy Moly, I just realized. Dolph Ziggler is the wrestling equivalent of the Milan Football Club right now. |

The most frustrating thing about Dolly is getting him right is really easy. The show off gimmick works. The bootleg HBK works. Stick a super hot girl in his corner, a massive bodyguard to run interference and have him by great but not QUITE as good as he says he is so have him cheat like an asshole sometimes. We know it works! We've seen it already!

The funniest thing Ziggler ever said was on Twitter.
Somebody tweeted him that they went to the toy store, and they bought The Rock instead of the Dolph figure. He replied by saying, "That's cool. Just make sure you only play with it two or three times a year."
I thought that was good.

If the idea was that he was forfeiting the belt then he comes off like a total moron. Does he not want to be a champion at all? Why even go for the title in the first place? Someone with his particular "You don't respect me, wahhhhh!" gimmick should want to hold onto a belt and prove people wrong every day of the week.
A part of me thinks they just wrote themselves into a corner and had no reason to put the belt on Ziggler. I think this will be a way to just have a U.S. tourney and I bet Jinder somehow winds up with it.

I'm personally just tired of seeing a character whose entire shtick is who mishandled he is, even in moments where he (kinda) isn't. In kayfabe, why the hell would Dolph have stayed as long as he has if he's mistreated this badly? Leave, guy. Go film porn or whatever your thing is. He's already doing pornstars IRL, but he's probably not going to make $900,000 a year filming porn like he allegedly does in WWE unless he starts his own production company and it takes off. |

He has had it all thrown at him. Countless US and IC title reigns. Money in the bank winner. 1-time WWE World Champion. Countless pushes and promos and all of that. Hell, he even ripped Shawn's superkick.
And he feels unappreciated?
Either shit or get off of the pot. These promos do nothing but waste valuable airtime.

Never before have I seen such a pathetic, wretched excuse for a character in my life. Miz should have beaten him last year in hindsight because he would use that as heat & we wouldn't ensure another year of Failure Dolph. Worse, and I know he's divisive, but WHY DID CORBIN LOSE?!! Dolph could have the exact same promo without metaphorically flipping off the championship. If he and Miz were on the same show, I'd love to see Miz just punk the shit out of him on the mic. Make it a worked shoot too. |

Wrestlers can make the most of a bad situation, as in the "lemon" analogy. The problem is, even on a show with much lower standards, Ziggler won't change much besides his vocal tone. We tried deathly serious Dolph, conspiracy Dolph, whiny Dolph, anti pomp and circumstance Dolph, and embittered Dolph. This year. Bryan was demoted to teaming with Kane and he made it work. Ziggler gets demoted and he whines and talks about wins and losses don't matter cause he's the best then loses again. Look at the Miz. The mishandled the living shit out of him on several occasions, but he took what he was given and did his best with it. He found the Hollywood character and has been the best heel in the company for the last year plus. Ziggler is a tremendous talent, but he's just missing the ability to find that other gear to take him where he should be. He's in the wrong era. He's someone that would benefit from a Bobby Heenan type manager that could be his mouthpiece. |

Kayfabe wise it is really stupid Ziggler says he doesn't achieve things and got no shots, that is my biggest issue,it is pointless and untrue for the character's story,which I assume is the point,you are supposed to hate him for that. |
