Brock easily. Most of Haku's fight stories are of him against unruly drunks while Lesnar fought and destroyed professional fighters. It would be a mismatch fight, Haku was just a tough man, Brock would just double leg him and be done with it. Yeah I can't but feel that it would be a anti climatic victory for Brock. That and people put way too much stock in it being a street fight and fighting dirty

I've seen Brock murder people, I've only heard stories about Haku from carnies.

Why is everyone acting like Brock wouldn't rip out someone's eye if put in a situation to do so? Motherf***er willingly lives in the middle of nowhere to hunt.

Nothing beats a good double leg and for all Brock's faults he has a fantastic one

Brock Lesnar lost his first fight with Frank Mir via leg lock. Before that, the ref had to break up Lesnar over a punch in the back of the head.
If Lesnar knows Haku fights dirty, then a rabbit punch is all he needs.

Yeah, I don't buy that Meng would just bite Brock and Brock would just whimper like a defeated dog in a cartoon. Brock is a gigantic human being and the only thing bigger than his stature is his idea of himself as an alpha male among alpha males and him being a competitive monster. It could easily turn into one of those National Geographic animal fights where even the winner ends up half-eaten. But yes, the ability to take down and control gigantic human beings is big. Gigantic human beings who routinely beat down bar room brawlers. I mean, Kimbo looked like the baddest man ever when those videos came out. And then he got into MMA and he was just another heavyweight.

I like how people say Haku as if ripping out an eye or nose is a justifiable advantage.
You know what else is an advantage? A weapon. And a few people could probably beat either Brock or Haku with that "advantage".

That's at least half the population of the county I live in, and they're mostly fat rednecks. Hell, I myself am both isolated and known to go hunting on occasion. Doesn't begin to prepare me for what Haku brings to the table.

Has anyone factored in the insane hard head Tongans and Samoans allegedly have?

I'm going to say Haku not on any kind of basis of knowing about MMA or having statistical evidence to back up the anecdotes from wrestling over the years, but just because it amuses me to imagine him getting his hands on Brock "write that down in your little notebook" Lesnar.

The fact that this poll is 50/50 is hilarious, Lesnar and it doesn't even warrant justification.

Are we pulling these guys through a time warp to do this and throwing them in the match two minutes later with no prep?
Asking, because I guarantee that if Haku in his prime knew what MMA was and had a few months to train, he'd take this, easily. As it is, it's still 50/50.
For whatever it's worth, and however apocryphal the stories may be, Haku was way more than just a nose-biter and eye-gouger. There are police statements out there noting that when they tried to arrest him once, it took over six of them just to get him down, kept busting the handcuffs they put on him and multiple cans of pepper spray emptied into his face just "irritated him." Of all the Haku stories, that one is, at the very least, legit. And that's a very scary man that even a prime Brock would have serious, serious trouble with.

No way Haku learns mma in a few months and is even a threat against a guy who mastered amateur wrestling and became a f***ing NCAA champion. Ok he's stronger than Brock and can break handcuffs, he can't stuff a double leg takedown. Not even Haku would be able to do anything with that gorilla on top of him. I would bet anything that it would take Brock less than a minute to whoop that ass.

Brock is tough. Haku is HAKU.

Haku was working legit professional martial arts competitions at the age of 15, and had already risen to the third highest division (out of six ranking divisions) in sumo by the next year. It's not like he's just some strong bumpkin who fell off a truck one day. He'd get the hang of modern MMA pretty quick.

As far as I know Sumo is only contested while standing up. How many months would it take Haku to learn how to stop a takedown from an NCAA champion? Sumo is a powerful combat discipline but as far as I know they don't teach how to sprawl. Once the fight gets to the ground is another story. Haku would need to learn not only how to stop takedowns but also jiu jitsu to know how to fight from his back and get back up to his feet so Brock doesn't basketball his head. That doesn't take months it takes years.
