Can they keep doing 6 & a half hour shows each year? I’m hoping sometime in the next few years they change it to a 2 day event. They can do two 8 to 10 match cards, one on Saturday the other on Sunday. There’s too many on the roster now for them to only do a 1 show card these days & too many guys don’t have anything to do. Last year for instance they had Braun & Joe without matches on the main show. Joe didn’t even appear at all which was very weird. They can do the NXT Takeover show on Thursday night, Hall of Fame on Friday, Mania Day 1 on Saturday, Mania Day 2 on Sunday. Not sure if it’s a popular opinion but I think it could work better that way. It would also make WrestleMania seem even bigger.

they can barely hold it together for the SEVEN HOURS as it is having the audience coming in during the kickoff is a disservice to everyone involved
three hours on the saturday (nXt on friday?) the hall of fame on saturday night three hours on the sunday ..... maybe four .....

Nah...WrestleMania should always be a one day event. That would be like splitting the Super Bowl into a two day game.

I really wish they'd cut down, 6 hours is way too much. Wasnt 32 like 6.5 total?

No way WWE is going to fill up a stadium two nights in a row unless they go about it in a way that costs them huge dollars.

Depending on how you look at it, it's already a five day event.

You've also then got to do the whole process getting people into a giant stadium twice, making sure they've all got the right day's tickets (as if the people working there didn't have a hard enough time), and all sorts of other awkward considerations. People have to pay twice as much for transport and parking, less time to see other indy shows, NXT, Hall Of Fame and so forth depending on how long they can take off work...
What sounds simple at first is actually a massive consideration, and I can see why WWE wouldn't want to go through with it ideally.

WWE plays stadiums for scale and prestige, not because they're massive huge moneymakers. Even a two-night pass cost only 90% extra WWE would be looking at some shaky prospects for money.

Two days? WrestleMania Week has been WrestleMania Week completely takes over a host city, every single day leading up to the show filled with WWE-related events and programming. From the All Axxess events on Thursday, NXT TakeOver Friday, Hall of Fame Saturday, the show itself Sunday, and the Raw (and SDL) after. This isn’t even including the dozens of independent wrestling companies holding their own events in the nearby area around the same time.
I would say if anything, they could trim down the filler crap on the show (skits, advertising, etc.) and streamline the show, but we both know that isn’t happening anytime soon...

Plus if you are planning to come in just for Mania, you have to spend two nights on a hotel room.

Wrestlemania should be 365 days a year and never end.

Hopefully never, because that would be miserable to watch.

Hopefully never, because that would be miserable to watch. Watching a 6 & half hour wrestling show is a bit too much though. They need to definitely change something to make it shorter. It should be 5 hours at the very most.

It's already too much as it is for me, I don't watch all the pre-show stuff. I'd be totally burned out on wrestling with 2 days of WrestleMania, then Raw and Smackdown.

The show itself should never last longer than 4 hours. I’d love for someone to break down exactly how much time is devoted to nonsensical bullshit for the recent Manais.
