The Prime Time Players. They were heels, not wrestling on the main shows then Darren Young comes out then all of a sudden they're faces on a winning streak on the main shows.

Eddie Guerrero in 2003. He turned heel by beating the shit out of his partner Tajiri. Next week he acts like a scumbag heel and gets cheered. The week after that, he cuts a promo joking about his "Latino temper" and grins and shrugs it off. He literally shrugged off a heel turn. I wouldn't consider that a lazy face turn, as much as it was an actively bad heel turn to start with. Eddie was ridiculously over as a babyface at the time, and had absolutely no business turning heel at that point in time. I think he was actually a heel for a bit longer than that, as he won the US title tournament as heel when Rhyno turned on Benoit in the finals, but then they ran a Smackdown in El Paso where they had no choice to abandon the turn, as there is no way he was going to keep the act going when his hometown was about to give him the ovation of a lifetime.

Any time they don't actually do a turn and just have the person/team come out as babyfaces. You tend to see this in NXT where heels with fan support just are babyfaces one day (American Alpha is a prime example), though the main roster will pull this occasionally, with New Day being a prime example where they were feuding with the League of Nations out of the blue after being allied with them weeks earlier. They did that with Prime Time Players as well after Darren Young announced he was gay to TMZ

Sure I was a total asshole to everyone but these guys were mean to me so you should love me right? Between the fans not getting behind him because bigger assholes turned on him and HHH taking the title from him a month after he won it, shit was bad for Randy WWE botched that one hard and you can see Randy was lost because his babyface tactic was to just do his pose every time I can't entirely blame them for having HHH beat him... Randy was not at all ready for the World title or the face turn at that point.

He did cut a promo the next week that was heelish... but it was pretty much the same as all of Eddie's promos at the time. He wasn't getting booed period during that tournament. So saying that they abandoned because of El Paso is just not really true.

In ring wise, Randy was ready to be a world champ but he just didn't seem to have the confidence yet to carry the title I think if they built it up in the same way they did Batista, it probably would have worked because like I said that next year during his feud against Taker is when you finally saw all the pieces come together WWE essentially wasted a big face turn and storyline tho between Randy/HHH

Before that show, he was a popular heel fighting against faces like Tajiri and Benoit (and also heel Rhyno). At the El Paso show, he was interrupted by a heel John Cena, ending the heel Eddie experiment.

AJ Styles last year. He shook Shane's hand (weeks removed from jumping him in the parking lot and smashing his head though a car window) and boom... babyface. Same deal for Hogan. He and his buddies smash the Rock with a vehicle, then on that weekend, the Rock and Hogan have a rasslin' match and shake hands when it's over. Hogan: "Hey, sorry about trying to murder you a couple weeks ago...we cool"?

That's because Randy never wants to be a face His best face runs are after Legacy when fans would pop without him saying a word and when he went to SD during his feud with Christian

Ted DiBiase Jr has to be the worst. He was this cocky rich douchebag then one day comes across his old tag team partner and attacks him, then suddenly hes hosting tailgating parties dubbed the DiBiase Posse signing autographs and taking pics with a bunch of marks.

Any time HHH or Vince are portrayed as faces--they both really suck at it.
