Nor do I see him being immediately rehired down the road, but if he is indeed innocent, WWE should be willing to give him another shot in time. That's why I think splitting him and Cass was such a mistake. Cass probably helped keep him grounded more than we know. If the guy needs a babysitter then maybe he isn't fit for the job in the first place though. Not really a fair spot to put Cass in. It's hard for me to believe Enzo's anything but screwed. He's gonna have to get his name cleared with no uncertain terms or he's gonna have a stigma that I can't see WWE looking past. Even if he's deemed not guilty, any sliver of doubt will be bad for him. To be fair, Shawn had a similar lifestyle in 97 with Trips having to keep him straight, remember?

Right that wouldn't fair to Cass at all to have to babysit this dude because he can't act right on the road. Maybe Cass did have a lot to do with calming him down but you can't expect him to continue to put up with that time after time I think even if Enzo is cleared of all charges he's pretty f***ed from WWE for a while. As was said earlier, the fact he held this from WWE for all these months is what really set them off because that's really irresponsible on top of the serious allegations of whether he did it or not His wrestling career in general will be hurting but it always seemed he wanted to use this to platform to entertainment. Assuming he isn't guilty of this and just has the drug problem, his road to entertainment will probably still be open

I’ve watched the video of Sam with his texts. The police need to trace those messages. I’ve seen the video of Philomena from TMZ and I’ve seen her I faked a pregnancy video. They were kind of hard to sit through because it feels like you’re watching children talk about very dark adult situations. Philomena talks about being raped in her fake pregnancy video too. She also says that no one rejects her and that she’s been to rehab multiple times. There’s more. It doesn’t mean she wasn’t raped, but it gives you an insight to her thought process to a degree. I recommend checking it out if you’re interested. I will warn you that it’s some disturbing stuff.
As far as why Enzo didn’t go to Vince or the WWE as a whole once he became aware of the situation could be multiple reasons. He could be guilty. He could’ve been thinking this would just go away. He could be innocent and didn’t care because he knew he was innocent. If the texts are legit, then I would believe they took drugs and had consensual sex, since she was bragging about it in the texts. Enzo knows if he went to the WWE saying he was involved with drugs, he’d be in big trouble. So he thought it would go away. And it did until Philomena took to social media. That blindsided the WWE. If you’re familiar with the Hacksaw Jim Duggan / Iron Sheik incident and firings, you might remember Vince finding about their bust through the media and saying “What have you done to us!?” to Duggan over the phone just before firing him on the spot. Vince is very cautious with his brand and he has every right to be. WWE did the right thing in releasing Enzo. There was no other way to handle it.
Why would Philomena wait and come out now? Again, could be multiple reasons. Perhaps she was raped and got tired of waiting for justice. Maybe she wanted support from the media because rape victims have been getting a ton of support there. Maybe she wanted attention so she’d gain more followers to earn more money from whatever she’s selling in her social media. Then again, if those texts are real, it could be that she wanted to go public to try to force Enzo to pay her off to shut up. I believe Michael Jackson paid somewhere around $200 million to silence his accusers. That sets a dangerous precedent. Whether he was guilty or innocent, he paid a very large sum of money to make people go away. That’s become acceptable. Enzo has WWE money. When Angel Amoroso came forward about several wrestlers raping her, statutory rape apparently, she didn’t go after the retired or forgotten wrestlers, she went to a Mick Foley book signing to protest against him. Again, Foley has that WWE money. I’m not saying her incidents didn’t occur either, but the situation does raise some suspicion.
As I said very early on in this thread, I am on the side of justice. If Enzo raped her, he deserves to be put away. If she’s lying, she should be locked up. If she is lying I dread reading about other accusations in the future which will be met with reactions like “I don’t know, remember what that crazy chick tried to pull on Enzo?” She wouldn’t just be damaging herself but damaging a very important movement for women that’s made a lot of progress and should continue to do so.

Forgive my naivety again, but what is MENSA? The club of geniuses. I'm sure Lanny Poffo was a member. I'm too stupid to know what it stands for off the top of my head. Mensa isn't an acronym. It's the Latin word for "table." Apparently the founder of the group named it such to reflect the "round table of intellectuals" nature of the organization. Or something.

I think you can compare it to probably Jeff and Matt Matt was always known as the babysitter to Jeff before he had his demons shown too While the keeping watch part is true...Jeff's biggest crime was that he liked to get high and ride motorbikes in his backyard. So I don't think it's fair to compare Jeff to Enzo. Shawn as well...but I think Shawn's personality matches up with Enzo, a hell of lot more than Jeff. (No I am NOT speaking on the rape aspect, I am only talking about personality..such as the douchebag attitude, loudmouth partying/women chaser lifestyle) I am also not trying to start anything or saying your wrong to have that opinion, Captain...jist merely speaking my peice as Jeff was a saint compared to what we've heard about Enzo and that's even taking out the factor of these allegations.

Nah I get what you are saying. It wasn't a One to One comparison More so comparison based upon "person who gets in trouble" to "the responsible babysitter" If we are talking humans, Jeff has Enzo beat there as far as if we assume Enzo did it However, i'm glad Jeff has gotten clean because him getting high at work and wrestling could have ended badly for one of his opponents.

No, I get ya man. I just felt bad for Jeff being compared, as he's seems to be a pretty cool dude...especially now that he has a family and is clean. I get what you mean, though. He was being watched close by Matt and brought back down before he messed up too big, etc. Who knows Cass's role, if any, he played in Enzo's life out of the ring, though. It's never been talked about, so he may have been a big factor, or may have not. You're right that he shouldn't have to be, it should be up to Enzo to keep his behaviour in check.

If the guy needs a babysitter then maybe he isn't fit for the job in the first place though. Not really a fair spot to put Cass in. It's hard for me to believe Enzo's anything but screwed. Assuming he isn't guilty of this and just has the drug problem, his road to entertainment will probably still be open Enzo is also 31. There's a time in your life where it's, in a sense, ok to get wild and party, but 31 is not really that age. You shouldn't still need a babysitter by that age. The same has been talked about regarding Patron and his life style. Enzo likes living a certain way, but sooner or later that road leads to a cliff. Wether or not these claims lead to anything, this is going to follow Enzo for a while most likely. There would have to be total proof that this woman completely made up these stories to totally clear his name. Even if there is, it would take a life change in Enzo's part before WWE considered taking him back. WWE almost always welcomed back someone who's had issues. Eddie changed his life and came back. Jeff Hardy settled down and came back. It's not impossible for Enzo to come back, but he's got a lot of work to convince WWE he is worth it.

Assuming Enzo is innocent of the allegations than he would have to keep his nose clean to get back into WWE However, the biggest difference between Enzo and the people you mentioned who got brought back into WWE after their troubles is the fact I don't believe Enzo heart is truly in wrestling. At the end of the day he wants to be an entertainer and I think he would have found his way in entertainment at some point leaving WWE behind At the end of the day assuming if Enzo is innocent he has to hope someone in WWE likes him enough to say give this guy another chance in a few years

I have stayed up to this point with my broken laptop (the screen; long story, but it's my fault and until I buy the replacement screen this weekend I have the TV hooked up to my laptop) and have read things that'll keep me awake tonight.
This is one of those times where I am SO glad I'm not a mod.

So anyone else kind of really hoping Cass succeeds now? Like I sincerely can't imagine what living with Enzo had to be like for him if it was anything like this. Because they had to room together throughout training. He carried him down their apartment complex stairs when he had a broken foot. Those are the kind of people he should have kept in his life instead of whatever the hell he associates with now... in the long run maybe it would have helped him.

It can be, even if just on a psychological (the depression that helped cause you to get hooked makes you think you NEED the drug to get by) level. With more serious drugs, it causes both a psychological and physical dependency, which makes quitting even a scarier prospect. It depends on the level of the drug. I think this little section, particularly the last thing said (as well as the visuals) sum it up best, at least on a psychological level. Warning for Language

Depends on the substance and your own genetic makeup. Both of my parents are/were alcoholics. I work in bars and drink literally every day, and yet I never have any problems taking a break, despite being constantly surrounded by it. As far as other substances, I have some other experiences that I won't go into detail about so as not to break forum rules, but I have just up and quit doing certain things because I didn't enjoy them anymore, as well as taken one thing from a daily habit to a "why the hell not?" Kinda thing, despite some people in my life ruining their lives because of those things.
