The law doesn't work that way. There's no verdict of "Innocent" that he can get from any court. If it gets to court at all. Given the staggering statistics out there of rape accusations leading to days in court and, ultimately, convictions, it's not certain whether a judge even sees this case. I don't think you understand...there's literally no such thing as "Innocent" when it comes to a court of law. You're either found 'Guilty' or 'Not Guilty,' there are no other verdicts in legal proceedings (if it makes it to trial, the only other option is a mistrial at that point). |

i just hope the right outcome happens here. If he's not guilty, he won't be jailed. If he is guilty, he goes to jail

My point is that in order to secure that verdict of "Guilty" or "Not Guilty", it has to get to the point where a verdict can even be rendered. For that to happen, it has to go to trial. Even for a mistrial to occur, it has to go to trial. If no charges are ever actually brought, there can be no determination made one way or the other/ |

My default position is to take rape allegations seriously, instead of resorting to shaming the victim(s).

I said in an earlier post I am not an Enzo fan at all, so I am not pro-Enzo at all here. But ill be completely honest, I don't believe her story but the fact Enzo comes across as a complete douche hasnt done him any favours.
One thing that stuck out to me in that TMZ interview was her complete over emphasis of the fact she said no countless times. Something about that was fishy to me. Also the story seems to have changed alot, and I think she remembers a lot for someone who was supposedly completely out of it. Thats all I am saying though and god forgive me if I am wrong, but this whole thing doesn't add up.

There has been speculation that one of the reasons the WWE has shied away from signing Tessa Blanchard thus far is her age and maturity. The prevailing wisdom is that talent needs to show a particular level of maturity before they’ll be signed. Matt Riddle is another example - his weed use has kept him away from being signed, despite being one of the best wrestlers around right now.
I bring this up because I think it’s germane to any discussion about Enzo. Sexual assault allegations aside, he’s been all over the dirtsheets for the wrong reasons frequently and almost always because he’s exhibited poor judgment.
So regardless of whether or not he’s guilty or innocent in this particular instance, he’s repeatedly proven himself incapable of handling the lifestyle that comes with being a WWE performer.
If he’s guilty here, then I hope they throw the book at him. If he isn’t, then let this be a big wake-up call for him to get his shit together.

Update from Fightful I just came across: Fightful contacted Sam Cook and inquired as to whether or not he'd contacted Phoenix PD or vice-versa, and he issued us the following statement:
Unfortunately, because the messages did not come from my phone (they came from my friend) there isn't a lot I can do in this situation. The police, hopefully, were able to obtain those texts when she handed over her phone back around the date she filed with the police department. The detectives working on the case went through @toopoor_ to obtain the screenshots (I dm'd them to her when she asked for them) and I told her I would be more than willing to speak with a detective. As for if Philomena "MissGucciWitch" has been in contact with me, she attempted to facetime call me yesterday (before the video) and was "so excited" to tell me she got to be on TMZ and she asked my friend, who was next to me and answered the phone call off of her phone because I have Philomena blocked, "Do I look good? I hope my makeup looked good, how's my hair? I'm going to be on television tomorrow I'm so f****** excited!!!" but she became super aggressive when I was handed the phone and told her what she did was wrong, and she told me I should "go kill myself" for not lying to people, and then hung up. But, she did post on her snapchat story about me- saying that I "leaked her phone number and address in the video" although.. if anyone watched they could clearly see her phone number, and personal information was not mentioned. This entire situation is super messy, and I feel gross for accepting this kind of attention-- but at the end of the day, attention on my video can hopefully garner attention towards Enzo's innocence, as well as @toopoor_ and @tylergrosso. As well as the injustice Philomena has done for sexual assault survivors. - I ask you, why would a potential victim be excited to be on TMZ over this? This girl is looking less credible by the day in my eyes.

I think one of the things that will come out of this from WWE standpoint is they will probably get stricter in regards to talent behavior and/or drug testing. Enzo seems to be a one off case in regards to talent behavior and how wild he is and as you said they’ve been particular on how young the people are they sign and if you had previous issues or stuck in your own ways than they pass on you for the time being |
