Again he will literally say anything to get people to pay attention to him.
More importantly so his crazed cult will praise him as some misunderstood genius.
Literally saw a post saying BVS wasn't a bad movie I just didn't understand it like it was some deep philosophical study.
And not an overly long bloated disaster that doesn't even really know what it wanted to say and was missing at least a movie and a half worth of plot.

Literally saw a post saying BVS wasn't a bad movie I just didn't understand it like it was some deep philosophical study. They retroactively apply the same argument to his earlier movies, too. What deep philosophical issues are being explored in Dawn of the Dead? I honestly couldn't tell you, but an embarrassing number of words have been wasted on the attempt to find some.

Which if they just stuck to saying he's a really great visual director no one could argue cuz that's actually true.

He missed like every point the original comic was making but... one of the few good things I can say about his watchmen was his addition of the Rorshach test in blood as well as the slow down to show the comic panels were at least a neat visual...

My only real gripe with him as a visual director is how he desaturates everything within an inch of its life. Everything he makes is just grey and brown and dreary, even in scenes where it doesn't need to be.

Yeah the de-saturarion cuz it's his 'style' is annoying. Worked for 300 and he just never moved on.
The man can frame a shot.
His 'depth' is always laughable cuz it's only deep if you've never been exposed to any philosophy or symbolism at all.

His reasoning for changing and killing off Jimmy Olson. Vintage Snyder.

Assuming this is accurate and knowing the type of guy Snyder's been to this point... this both does and doesn't surprise me...

Assuming this is accurate and knowing the type of guy Snyder's been to this point... this both does and doesn't surprise me... Not sure I buy it. The Snyders are listed as producers on Wonder Woman 1984 (their production company still has a couple of movies left to run on its DC contract) and the supposed bullying is over her liking an Instagram post of the latest poster for the movie. Doesn't add up. That said, I have seen a ton of these bozos hating on WW'84 because it's bright, colourful, and was co-written by Geoff Johns, so it's plausible that a few of them might be unaware she's got a stake in the movie.

we are generally not talking about rational people here >_>
I could easily see it because Patty Jenkins has been pretty anti-snydercut... and has basically said she's ignoring a lot of stuff that Snyder said in her movies.

True, which does back up the assertion that the Snyders are producers on paper only (the movie has a lot of other producers, including Gadot, and Jenkins herself).

Being a producer doesn't mean you had any input. A lot of times it's someone who used to be attached to the project but really isn't anymore. They end up maintaining a producers credit. Like on Boondocks, where for the first 3 seasons Reginald Hudlin still had an executive producer credit while they were straight up writing episodes about how awful he is.

Should be noted, the Snyder Cult's sole unifying trait is their adulation and worship of Zack Snyder. I remember, before Birds of Prey came out, seeing a split between some Snyder Cutters calling it "SJW propaganda" and saying "get woke, go broke". and others saying to support the movie because Zack Snyder all but personally hand picked Margot Robbie to play Harley Quinn. Saw much of the same with Aquaman the year before.

I love how, in spite of everything they've done the past two or three years, the only thing the Movement has accomplished is an April Fool's joke that writes itself.

Considering their habit of spamming their hashtag on posts announcing the deaths of famous people, using Snyder's daughter for publicity, and posting shit like this: They're damn luck people only think they're a joke and not something much worse.
