Don't think I had a terrible console.
Game wise though Ultraman for the Snes is fairly poor, as is Home alone for the gameboy.

Is the CD thing a cuttle cart? Back in the 80s a group created the star path super charger. Which was a 2600 cart with a wire coming off it. You plugged the wire into the earphone Jack on a cassette deck. And the star path games came on audio cassette. In the late 90s someone took that idea, renamed it the cuttle cart. And you plug it into the earphone Jack of a CD player. Then take the 2600 toms run them thru a program that makes them into mp3s. Burn those to a cd,and whammo you got a cd with every 2600 game. Never heard of a device that lets you plug in 5 carts. But there was/is so much stuff for the 2600. Since it had the longest lifespan of a home console. Started in what 76 or 77 and the last officially published game came out in 89 or 90. Hell there is still new games being made for the 2600. Like Halo,Princess Rescue and the long rumored Knight Rider game. that might be what it is - I remember Starpath and I might have a couple of the casettes. Nothing to play them with. I have a couple of the XONOX "double carts" too. Atari was pretty ambitious, just remembered Swordquest. I only played the first one, I think 2 of the 4 had official releases.... Earthworld, the first game, Fireworld, the second game, got released to stores. Water world ,the third game, only got released thru the Atari fan magazine. Air world never got released.

I think Waterworld was released into stores but in very limited quantities.

This commercial for The Power Glove:
combined with it being featured in The Wizard (thanks, Lucas) convinced me that it was awesome and that I simply had to have it!
As The Angry Video Game Nerd demonstrated, it just didn't work very well...

I had the U-Force, which we used a few times on Punch-Out, then put it away when we couldn't beat Glass Joe.

Atari Jag.
There was nothing 64 bit about it...lol. That and the controller was extremely clunky and at times just didn’t work. I got mine in the mid 90’s at Kay-Bee Toys for like $19.99 and it wasn’t even worth that.
The Virtual Boy.
I picked it up at Meijer’s around the same time (mid 90’s) for like $30.00 and really my only gripe with it was the damn red and black graphics. I couldn’t play it any longer than 30 minutes before my eyes started to hurt. It did have an excellent Wario game though and maybe a few other games that were ok.
The 32X.
Got it in the summer of 1995 as a gift. There were a lot of rushed garbage titles for it but there were some good games too. MK2, Chaotix, Afterburner, Doom and Virtua Fighter were really good. It wasn’t the greatest but it’s not nearly as bad as some reviewers make it out to be.
That’s it for me.

The Game Boy port of Mortal Kombat- it was slow as a snail and the button response time was awful.
