Tbh, him being champ will hurt wk sales I think. It feels like in general the shine has come off of a lot of NJPW stars. I wonder how much of that is because of All In, and how much the BTE side of Bullet Club has really dominated the public consciousness in the West. I've noticed if I'm wearing a BC shirt, people who initiate conversation with me look at me like I have 12 heads when I say I'm not the biggest Young Bucks fan, but that I do like Tama Tonga and Taiji Ishimori. Honestly, I’m fine with most of BC. The Bucks, Tama, Cody, Scurll, Omega and Fale are probably my favorites, and even the scrubby members like Yujiro can be entertaining in a “look at this goof” sort of way. I think BC has lasted so long because they’ve done a good job of allowing their members to show their diverse personalities clearer than say, the nWo often would. A lot of Nitros felt like I was just watching Hollywood Hogan and his fan club some weeks.

Couple guys on the wikipedia are messing around with the Dominion page. Its now stating on there that Okada is defending against Masanobu Fuchi and Jumbo Tsuruta won the Intercontinental Champion from Naito and is defending against Jericho.

The one time we hope for an Okada win. I love Okada, and I'm not tired of his reign at all, but this is one time I'll be rooting against him. ![:-X](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/lipssealed.png)

My guess would be Mysterio Vs KUSHIDA as his last hurrah in the Jr Heavyweights.

My guess would be Mysterio Vs KUSHIDA as his last hurrah in the Jr Heavyweights. I've heard Liger, Tanahashi, & Rey-Rey vs. Bullet Club (Scrull, Takahashi and one of the other goobers) being tossed around.

The one time we hope for an Okada win. Only time I didn't root for Okada was against Tha God Tanahashi and "That Dude" Naito. Otherwise, I love me some Rainmaker.

So Mysterio looks to be used in a six-man tag match, teaming with Tanahashi and Liger vs. Bullet Club (Scurll, X & X). Curious to see if those Xs are Cody/Hangman, GOD or some combination of Yujiro/Ishimori/Chase/Fale.
I'm also hoping for Okada to retain, if we're planting our flags now.

Now it's going to be that "Juicy Gino" guy.

I do think Omega should take it at Dominion, just because I think it'll help NJPW a good deal in North America, but if I had to pick a favorite wrestler right now it's Okada hands down. Rainmaker vs. Fuchi in his prime would have been INSANE.

The one time we hope for an Okada win. Says who? Okada winning is the easiest path to Naito (unless Gedo has 100 percent kicked him into Nakamura role) and thus making up for lame 2018 NJPW, imo.

I'm so psyched for this. Okada/Omega from last year's Dominion inspired me so much I got into taking fitness/working out seriously in awe of what they pulled off. I'm excited to see how they structure this one.
If I had to bet money as to who wins, I wouldn't be able to go against Okada. I feel the same way about Omega winning as I did about Naito winning at Wrestle Kingdom; that it's too obvious and therefore it was going to be the case.... which is why I think it won't happen here.
Look at the progression:
1st match - Okada wins 2nd match - Draw 3rd match - Omega wins, but Okada carried an injury from the Suzuki/EVIL matches
With no time limit and weeks of prep the arc leans towards Omega winning in a way where Okada can have no excuses. But one of the things I've loved about NJPW since following it is a lack of fear to take stories where they want them to go rather than what they know people would already be happy with.

Looking like a stacked card. I'm thinking Kenny wins ultimately wins, but there's a very late-into-the-match moment where Okada kicks out of a One Winged Angel.

What a card man. i may be as stoked for this as I was for WK.
I'm rooting for Kenny. I want Kenny to win. But gun to my head, I'd pick Okada to win. I also wonder how Bucks/Kota will play into it.
Looking at that stacked card it dawned to me the US title isn't even up for grabs.
My picks:
Kazuchika Okada (c) Tetsuya Naito (c) Hiromu Takahashi new (c) Hiroshi Tanahashi, Jushin Thunder Liger & Rey Mysterio Jr. The Young Bucks new (c) Hirooki Goto (c) Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yano Juice Robinson & David Finlay Roppongi 3K

Anyone know how long the show should be? I think Dominion last year was a bit over five hours, so definitely be ready to invest in some caffeine if you're in North America and feel like watching it live. But that won't "feel" as long as it sounds; the action is pretty non-stop so it'll feel a lot quicker than you might think.
