I want to see what these rosters are gonna look like. I mean it's 18 months away so I think we can safely assume that most if not all of the heavy hitters currently down in NXT are gonna be on the main roster. Like....barring injuries or other circumstances...18 months from now the main roster will be even more insane then it is now.

3 thoughts:
1. So can we bring back the f***ing pyro now?
2. I really really wished I would have purchased WWE stock when it was dirt cheap.
3. If this goes well, it’s gonna open up the floodgates for other networks to put wrestling on their channel. Of course the company has to have some buzz to it as well as appeal to a casual crowd, so something like NJPW in its current state wouldn’t stand a chance until it became more accessible to the average American channel clicker.

Unreal amount of money but it's over due imo. I've always been amazed at the foolishness of networks and advertisers at ignoring wwe because it's wrestling and the belief that everyone who watches it are just trailer park trash. They have been incredibly short sided for a long time. Pretty ironic to say the least though they get such a massive deal when the product and booking has been so bad. As many others have already noted though, it scares the hell out of me that vince will think that the path they have been on with reigns is not only best for business, it's the only damn thing we will ever get until the undertaker really takes his soul. Sigh.
That being said,. If i was a talent, especially a top one, i would be pretty damn stoked because they surely are justified in demanding big raises whenever their contracts are up for renewal.

New Day's gonna be on Empire. I didn't even think about cross promotion in that way, wow huge opportunity may open up for a lot of guys. UPN used to do this back in the day with SD too, that's how we got The Rock on Star Trek Voyager. Heh, this whole deal is f***ing huge with really deep tendrils branching out. Watch our WWE/Simpons threads be based partially in reality some day.  Yeah, but remember, FOX just got Last Man Standing. LMS has Jay Leno as a cast member, we may just get the return of Leno in the ring. |
