Meltzer's comments on this... clyp.it/jx3xik20So yeah, the top stars will move to SDL and they'll have to make sure SDL is their most important show due to the numbers associated with it. The easiest way to do this is to just end the bloody brand split. They can still have two touring groups for house shows, they don't need a brand split on TV especially when they're unwilling to do anything to differentiate the two brands. Between 5 hours of TV they can fit most guys on at least one of the shows each week, if they create a few big stables they can have people at least get some screen time constantly even if they're not doing much. Or at least have a few more guys that are "free agents" Smackdown needs Brock Lesnar or Rhonda Rousey showing up from time to time if it has any hope of doing well on Fox. If they end the brand split, I can just go ahead and stop watching both shows once again. That would all but guarantee the type of wrestlers I prefer won't sniff a title run if there's only one world title. |
