The blue hedgehog, as we all know, is getting a live-action/CG hybrid movie via Paramount. It's coming out November 15 next year, and has so far cast James Marsden.

I’m really not looking forward to reviews of this film going on about how alleged awful all Sonic fans are. Maybe it’ll be fun, maybe it won’t, I’m just not looking forward to having to defend myself for enjoying a game series.

Why we can’t just have a SatAM feature film, I have no clue.

I wish the people doing the ongoing Sonic Mania cartoon shorts could make a full animated film with that style/sense of humor. It'd obviously have to change some to fit a full-length movie, but it'd be sweet.

I'd definitely like to see a real attempt at a more serious Sonic story. 06 was screwed from the start by corporate nonsense and having to cobble bits together to make the deadline, and Forces was slapped together in a year because SEGA just had to show off their new and shiny engine.

An Adventure-type of story that's given time and done well would be really interesting.

I want to see an origins story explaining where Sonic came from, how he met Tails, and stuff like that. I want a CGI or traditionally-animated movie set in Sonic's world, not "our" world.
