Eh, it doesn't look bad to me. From the article, it sounds like they had to make some concessions to make Sonic look right, but I'd much rather that than whatever the shit that fan-made Sonic was supposed to be.
Also, I f***ing love how the poster mentions The Fast and the Furious. Actually fits pretty well with Sonic.

I wonder if the hands are white. That’s what I’d do if I wanted to make a “tangible” Sonic, since him having Mickey Mouse gloves here wouldn’t work in our world at all. But more than anything, I want a really expressive face.

There’s a video of a meeting at the town council where the crew was shooting, and a Paramount exec talks about it being “heartwarming”. I’d be fine with that, but I’m curious on how hammy Carrey’s Eggman will be. |
