He looks way better and cuddlier now, but as I said before, I was already becoming more open to the “live action Sonic” concept before that first model came out. More than anything, I’m glad to see some of this anger dying down over the whole thing, because there had to have been some Sonic fans on production if they were willing to delay and make such a change. This looks good enough to where I don’t agree with the first post I made in this thread anymore. I’m buying a ticket opening weekend. Yeh that last trailer was really good,I might actually go watch |

I mean, I actually enjoyed the last one since I found myself chuckling a couple of times but this one just feels more "right" so to speak.
There are people out there thinking this was all planned somehow and...man, those people underestimate the incompetence of Hollywood producers.

Sonic does look better, though his personality kind of reminds me of Dewey from the modern version of DuckTales.
Here's a pondering: what will be the big surprise moment near the end (or in the credits) of the movie? I would have said Robotnik as he's called here turning into Eggman, but that was spoiled by the first trailer. So that leaves two major ones to me:
1)Sonic becoming Super Sonic in the final act of the movie.
or
2)Mid or post credits scene that shows Tails, since this seems to be Sonic before he met Tails.

Sonic even drops a "NAILED IT!" during the trailer.
Either way, gotta give mad props to the production team. They may have salvaged this. Sure, I'm not seeing this in theaters but I'll check it out eventually. At the very least, my 7-year old will definitely get a kick out of it.
