He Was Sexual Chocolate with D'lo (or at least part of the gimmick that way) Ivory was brought in to counteract Mark trying to have sex with Debra. |

I'm not entirely sure if that was even intentional. Mick's pitch on the Mankind name was the duality of Mankind the character and Mankind the human race. Could've been a happy accident. |

This topic is inspired by the fact that I didn't realize Corey Graves had been wrestling on the indies for years and was in ROH before he signed to WWE. I didn't start paying attention to NXT until after he retired so I always thought he was some performance center guy they felt bad about and decided to give another shot on commentary. It wasn't until his comments about being former friends with Punk that it clicked in my head because I was trying to wrap my head around how that was possible until I looked at his Wikipedia. Do you have any of those duh moments? I forget about that, myself - I didn't see a lot of his indy work but I crossed paths with him before he went to WWE. Ditto for Almas/La Sombra. Someone asked me what "Khinshasa" meant in Japanese, I actually wasted some time on that before I found out it was switched out for the original name (Boomaye), much like Finn's Bloody Sunday was changed to 1916. |

Kane is the "evil" brother, yet 'Taker confessed to starting the fire that killed their parents and left Kane (mentally) scarred. I'm stopping there, because I don't want another headache. |

It's a WCW/WWF one really, but it was only recently that I rewatched Austin's 'Is it, funny? Is it, humorous?' promo with Hugh Morrus, and realised that his name was meant to be a pun on the word humorous. I'm not sure I've ever met a single person whose pronunciation makes that gag work. I only recently realised why New Day’s finisher is called the Midnight Hour... I just thought it was an obscure pop culture reference I didn’t get. Because the Midnight Hour is the start of a New Day... Holy shit you just changed my life.
