Was Amazing Red ever in development at any time? He's seems like someone they would have found some use for. I thought there was a rumor around the time Mysterio was the face of the cruiser weights that they were thinking of bringing him in to work with Rey but that might not have had any truth to it.

Problem is, there's only one dude who can consistently keep King in check, and that's Quack. He'd go crazy in five seconds, but I kinda thought Quack might get a booking/training job with NXT. Zero chance Quack would take a gig where he wasn't in total control. He burned bridges with literally everyone that he's ever worked with that is a bigger name than him.

Christopher Daniels will never not be the first guy that springs to mind when this question is asked. He was apart of WWE, in the light heavyweight division m.youtube.com/watch?v=Lb0yC2eNhS4That was only a tryout match, he was never officially signed. Hell, it even says it in your video you linked.

The Motor City Machine Guns. There tag team game was on another level and they could have added a lot to either Raw or Smackdown. I’m also surprised Alex Shelley never got a run as a singles star. The guy has a ton of charisma and can work his ass off. Pre-modern NXT, I didn't believe for a second that these guys would get signed. Now I could absolutely see it, even if only for a couple-year run both together and apart. I kept hearing back and forth disputes on whether he was really supposed to be 'the higher power' but McMahon thought dude was too small so he took on the role himself. Even though he was signed I still have no idea why they never did anything with Colt Cabana. He had the comedic chops of Santino but was also much younger, much bigger, and maybe funnier depending on who you ask. I always assumed Abyss was bound when I first saw him on NWA-TNA in 2002. Sonny Siaki also had that ideal WWE-look. And also Matt Bently, not necessarily because he was outstanding but because he was related to HBK. I don't believe for one second that Christopher Daniels was going to be the higher power. The audience reaction would have been "who?" Colt had to have just rubbed someone the wrong way. I can't see any other reason for him being so criminally misused. This is what always confused me about this rumour. Daniels? In 1999? That'd be like putting AJ Styles in there. Or Above Average Mike Sanders. Actually those guys both were seen by 3 million people in WCW's dying days, so it's closer to getting some asshole from XPW or CZW in there. Reckless Youth was rumored to join in the 90s but nothing came out of it. I still don't know why they never even considered Steve Corino in 2001. I'm actually more surprised WCW didn't want him at the time. Being King of the Old School, he'd make way more sense in a WCW climate than a WWF one. If you mean post-WCW closure, then honestly I'm not at all surprised they didn't pick him up since not many ECW guys made it and he was like twelfth banana behind the guys they'd already signed in previous years and the few they DID pick up from the purchase. ACH Human Tornado (back before you know) Chuck Taylor. Mike Angelosetti. Problem is, there's only one dude who can consistently keep King in check, and that's Quack. He'd go crazy in five seconds, but I kinda thought Quack might get a booking/training job with NXT. It always surprised me that Tornado never got a look-in. Although he definitely would have got a mid-card, racially offensive gimmick.

Teddy Hart. But seriously.... Tyson Dux and the Motor City Machine Guns. I also thought A1 from Team Canada (TNA) would have signed since he had the "WWE build" at the time.

It would have driven me crazy if they signed Tyson Dux. Especially back during the days where he did that weird f***ing dance where he threw his head around in all different directions.

A strange one but I'm surprised WWE haven't signed Santana Garrett yet.
Mostly because she looks like someone WWE would have hired for the most part. In a good way.

There has to be something up right? I mean I agree 100% seems like perfect fit for WWE, but nope just a single shot here and there. Also somewhat surprising is she never worked for TNA "full time" either, just spots here and there as well. Also isn't she based out of Florida too? Which makes it all that even more interesting imo

Agree with Daniels 100% and Kazarian for that matter as well. Also, add Willie Mack to the list. I'm amazed that Brian Cage hasn't been given another shot

Granted he was there for like a minute, and only appeared on Velocity. But he was still there. Willie Mack was also signed for a little less than that. Then got immediately cut for some reason.

I don't know if they're ever gonna give him a chance and he's recovering from a broken neck now

I know she very nearly got hired around the time of Muhammad Hassan (and even did test runs as a Raisha Saeed-esque character) but I'm surprised Cheerleader Melissa never got hired.

I found it hilarious that by the time he showed up in the CWC, I had no idea he'd been in Team Canada in TNA, even though I was watching religiously at the time. There has to be something up right? Kazarian, after having already quit : "Hmmm, I think I'm gonna cut my hair."
