There's a thread about indie guys you're surprised WWE never signed.
Well removing the 'indie' qualifier, who are people that you're surprised worked for WWE?
I would say Colt Cabana but given Punk was his buddy that isn't all that surpising.
The one that I thought of when replying to the other thread that inspired this one was Amish Roadkill.
Like, bringing him in for the One Night Stand specials is one thing, but Roadkill actually worked there for a while on the WWECW show in its early days. This motherf***er wears an Amish Halloween costume and only says the word 'chickens.' I cannot believe anyone in WWE actually signed him, and that's not me being critical of him as a talent, it just seems unbelievable that a genuinely international promotion would use him.

Sandman, Sabu, Dreamer, really any of the ECW originals except for RVD. Sure it was a good payday while it lasted but from day one I imagined they all knew it wouldn’t last.

My answer goes back a bit - The Steiner Brothers. I grew up watching these guys kick ass every weekend on WCW Worldwide, then I’m reading an Apter mag and see an article that they’re off to the WWF. I couldn’t believe it at the time.
