I think the biggest "Why bother?" for me was Ernest Miller. I'm not hearing this! The Cat was one of my Boys(TM OSW Review Show), so seeing him, even for so short a time, was awesome.

I got into wrestling, and specifically WWE (WWF as it was) in 1991. Can those of you with the knowledge, tell me how big a deal it was when Dusty signed in I believe 1989? Was it a situation where people never expected him to sign? Those who knew history would say it was expected; Dusty had been there before, and Vince was very high on him. Those who only came in during the "glory years" of WWF and Crockett at war would likely say they never saw it coming.

Ernest Miller was gold on the mic, it wasn't surprising they hired him in the era when that was the most important thing.
I'll say Kawal/Low Ki. Short, bad attitude, stiff as hell.

I stopped watching between 2002-2006, and in 2008 I bought the big Rumble box set with the first 20 in. The first I knew of The Cat being in WWE was watching the '04 Rumble and being caught off-guard. Also one of the greatest bits of WWE comedy in history ('The wig is eliminated'), plus I marked out at a WCW guy being there.

Finlay
Was a career midcarder, hadn't been seen for years, was old and then appeared on Smackdown unexpectedly.
Had a great run too.

Kazarian. I think he only wrestled on Velocity for the few weeks he was there. Yep, he had a perfect record too... he won like both of his matches... the rumor was he supposedly quit as someone asked if hew as willing to cut his hair... Which he did anyway in TNA like a few months later... He was there in July and August. Wrestled 4 TV matches, all on Velocity (Nunzio, Funaki, S2H, London), won all of them. Also had 2 dark matches (1 during that summer run, 1 back in Feb) and won those too.
