This cannot stay open long due to politics, so let’s just say good riddance to racist rubbish.

Make almost a billion dollars selling cardboard pizza with diarrhea sauce on it, all you have to do to maintain your legacy is not say the N word. Too difficult.

If I was at home, I’d put a chef hat and curly moustache on the Vacant render.

Honest question, does the name change in situations like this? I mean, it can't be "Papa John's" if there ain't no Papa John, right?
I say rename it "Terrible". Terrible Pizza. If nothing else, it'd be truth in advertising.

Kinda shocked so many people hate Papa John's pizza. Sure the owner was sleazy, but out of the chain pizza places it was way better than Pizza Hutt, which is barely better than those cheap frozen pizza you van get 3 of for 6 bucks.

I honestly thought he was forced out awhile ago due to racist comments and then got a job in the Trump administration.
I know that kinda sounds like a joke, but I mean it seriously.

If nothing else, it'd be truth in advertising. They could easily keep going with the name Papa Johns. I mean the owner of Bob's Discount furniture who is in all the commercials is not Bob. Nor is there a Chris in Ruth's Chris Steakhouse... Kinda shocked so many people hate Papa John's pizza. Sure the owner was sleazy, but out of the chain pizza places it was way better than Pizza Hutt, which is barely better than those cheap frozen pizza you van get 3 of for 6 bucks. I haven't had pizza hut in a while, it used to be damned good for chain stuff. Papa John's has always been the bottom tier of chain pizzas... save for maybe Little Caesar... but Little Caesar realized this and made their stuff cheap as hell. PJ's was awful and about the same if not more expensive than a decent tier local place.

I stopped ordering Papa John’s after his NFL stance. It’s fine for chain. So is Pizza Hut, but not for that price. I could get prime rib dinner for what Pizza Hut thinks food is worth.

Might just be I had a good Papa John's by me when I lived out in TX. Honestly now if I get pizza it is usually from the local place. Sure it is 20 a pizza but it is way better than the other choices in this town, which are Pizza Hutt,Dominos and Hunt Brothers. For years I hate Dominoes but they changed their pizzas what 10 years ago and they really improved.

The mild, uncontrollable shitting after is part of the experience. KFC, same deal, just more expensive.

There's one place here that'll run you $22-25 a pie, but it's worth it. That being said, when you're flat broke, nothing beats a $5 Hot and Ready.
