Smart move with the back-to-back thing, since no offense to the man, but Stewart isn't getting any younger. Who knows how much longer he'll last. At this point I hope they just blatantly rip off the movie Red. Have Picard engaged in CQC with the bad guy while Aerosmith plays in the background. "Crusher trained you? I trained Crusher."

Hopefully, all of Trek since Voyager got home has been an elaborate Q created fantasy

Second Teaser: Also the poster: So the first season had the Borg, now this season is about time travel. I thought Berman and Braga weren't involved in this series?

Ugh. Time travel. It's only good when its done in a fun not serious way (like Star Trek IV). I think I'd rather roll around on a bed of legos than watch this now.

So the first season had the Borg, now this season is about time travel. I thought Berman and Braga weren't involved in this series? Alex Kurtzman's wrote Star Trek 2009 and is also in charge of Star Trek: Discovery, which has also had a time travel plot. Ugh. Time travel. It's only good when its done in a fun not serious way (like Star Trek IV). Mileage definitely varies, but the more serious forays into time travek are easily the best for me. First Contact is an outstanding movie, ST2009 holds up better than it has any right to, while in the TV shows "City on the Edge of Forever", "Year of Hell", "All Good Things", and "Yesterday’s Enterprise" are all great. I'd sooner chew my own arm off than be forced to sit through Star Trek IV again.

Some of my favorite Trek episodes involved time travel and alternate realities. Enterprise might've done it to death, but at least this seems to be more in the vein of Tapestry or All Good Things rather than that Temporal Cold War shit.

Though with rumors they were trying to get Bakula back for an appearance somehow...unless it's part of that upcoming Christopher Pike era Trek...

So long as we get a line as iconic as "double dumbass" and "you people ever pee?"

Eh. At this point, I don't care about the Borgs or the Borg queen anymore.

Eh. At this point, I don't care about the Borgs or the Borg queen anymore. Like I’ll probably watch it because I have Paramount+ mainly for my kid (see also: Paw Patrol) But main are my expectations in the dirt after basically everything Star Trek in recent memory (with the caveat that I have not watched Lower Decks)

One of the few good things about Enterprise is they made the Borg scary again.
I wonder if Wersching is playing the same Borg Queen character that Alice Krige played (because time travel shenanigans) or a different Queen.

This is the first kind words I've ever read about the Borg episodes on Enterprise. I've never watched them myself, are the episodes in and of themselves good?

There's one Borg episode and it's in Season 2. It's called Regeneration and it's an interesting episode. Even though there's only a couple of drones at first (intact corpses from First Contact that were discovered in the Arctic and foolishly reactivated by ignorant human scientists), they cause a lot of havoc in a relatively short amount of time.
I don't know if my opinion is a minority one or not, but I liked the episode.

There is a theory out there that the events of Enterprise only happened because of the Borg changing the past in First Contact. Explains why we never heard of NX-01 and Archer in the shows.
