Picard is fluent in French and while it is considered an archaic language, the TNG episode that idea mostly comes from is the infamous "Code of Honor." That was such a random part, when Picard suddenly became wistful about the proper way the French fly their colors.

So did this occur to anyone? There have been 9 ships named Enterprise. 7 of those ships have had a prefix (A through G). Jeri Ryans character is now captain of Enterprise 7 of 9. While it is fun, the two Enterprises that didn't have a prefix were first, which would mean that she is captain of Enterprise 9 of 9.

I am more than OK with this I’m torn, the final season was such a beautiful high note to walk away on but I will never disagree with the idea of more Jean-Luc Picard EDIT: If they do a movie, I wanna know what Worf did to the Enterprise E
