People need to stop being friends with Punk. We're going to hear about a falling out with Kofi any week now... Samoa Joe: Man, f*** Punk!! Interviewer: Why? Samoa Joe: He broke the most sacred indy code! Interviewer: Which is.....? Samoa Joe: He sent a drunk Homicide to Bryan's house! You never send Homicide anywhere drunk! He almost pissed on Brie and Bry!

This dude is trash. The f*** kind of statement is this. "I gave up on you doing wh-", f*** outta here. Yea, you don't say no shit like that unless you want beef or you been feeling some type of way
That was some passive aggressive BS. If you got beef with me say it and we go about our way but that was a lot of shade thrown and then trying to mask it as "i'm just saying"

"I gave up on you doing what is right a long time ago." That's harsh to say if that's only because Colt saw some friends at Raw Also the part about the lawyer still representing Colt without the money as long as "is no conflict between you and Phil that prevents me from morally and ethically representing you" is ominous I feel people really seem to misunderstand the whole Cabana visiting Raw thing. Wasn’t it recommended by Punk and Colt’s lawyers that he not visit Raw, as they believed WWE was bankrolling the lawsuit and felt it could hurt them in the case and Colt went anyways? That’s always been my understanding but maybe I’m wrong

Also, unless I'm remembering wrong, didn't the WWE basically give Colt an out by asking him to take down the podcast and Colt relented, deciding his loyalty to Punk meant more to him?

From some cryptic comments that Kofi made awhile ago, I think he hasn't been friends with Punk for awhile. Some of the WWE folks are friends with AJ, but I think he cut off nearly everyone. I'd like to think if Kofi even starts to say something like "Maybe I should text Punk, see how he's doing...", Big E just throws his phone into traffic and gives him a big hug until Kofi forgets all about Punk.

That's just starting trouble because you want trouble. What did he expect Cabana to say to that? "Ok" like he's ok with it? Like, man. It says a lot when you win a court case and yet you still won't pay your friend who entered this and kept the video up because you told him to. That's literally the worst possible option for Cabana. He took more of a hit getting into this than he would have had he not. Also, unless I'm remembering wrong, didn't the WWE basically give Colt an out by asking him to take down the podcast and Colt relented, deciding his loyalty to Punk meant more to him? I might be remembering wrong but I think Punk told him to keep it up and Cabana, given he's loyal, kept it up. Something like that.

This is really getting to me since I'm somewhat financially secure at the moment, and I've done what I can to help those that helped me and had my back while I was getting my Bachelors degree. Just....f*** Punk, man.

Yeah, it's in the statement that Punk told him to ignore it and that he had his back. If he would have complied he wouldn't have had to deal with the lawsuit.

are any of you afraid to have a podcast because of this whole thing? Putting people off starting any more podcasts would be the best outcome for all of this

Shitty, man.
I like Punk a lot, but lord he's unforgiving.
Hope he finds his peace with everyone who he's seemingly cut out of his life.
Colt, I dunno if he has a legal leg to stand on, but it seems like he got done wrong by this man who he trusted.

Jeez, Punk definitely doesn't seem like the kind of guy you can go out for a beer with.
Wait...

Just....f*** Punk, man. Yeah, anyone who's dealt with their own bank account or a friend betraying them can relate to this. Punk's horrible. That's just starting trouble because you want trouble. What did he expect Cabana to say to that? "Ok" like he's ok with it? Like, man. Yea, that's the type of shit that piss you off and make you question whether you was ever someone friend in the first place or were they just playing you and using you Cabana's going to change due to this especially given how long he's known Punk. He's heard the stories about him but didn't relate to it, he didn't think this shit could come from it given he and Punk have been ok but this? Nah, this is damaging. Lawyer fees ain't gon pay itself.

Gang, a text *is* legally binding.
Not a joke here:
If Colt can prove the text was sent from Punk's phone number and Punk can't disprove that he was the one who sent the text, that counts as a written confirmation and consent. This is especially true as the context of the conversation itself WAS a discussion of legal issues.
Colt has a strong case with this.
If Punk is this petty/spiteful to take this to court, it's proof he has a major mental issue that he either hasn't gotten diagnosed or won't receive proper medication for.

I would have thought that anything not witnessed in real time by a Notary (or Lawyer) wouldn't be binding. EDIT : Also, since Punk is the defendant, wouldn't the burden be on Colt to prove that it DID come from him, rather than the other way around?
