Also Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics is getting a Blu-Ray release Holly crap never expected that. I wonder if the English dub is going to have the original Japanese opening and ending? As great as it would be to authentic, I grew up with the English dub openings and endings. Also link?

The Inspector Gadget video...guest starring Lupin III (and a failed attempt at a spin-off) and Akira (yes, THAT Akira).
Also, the last point he makes in the video mentions a more competent version of Gadget that was shown in a TV movie. When he mentioned that idea, my mind went to this and I still wonder if this was originally going to be an Inspector Gadget show but they couldn't get the rights and they changed it around a bit.

Wow, really detailed episode. This one, along with Double Dare, might be my favorite episode of the series so far.

Finders Keepers will be just over 20 minutes. Not much to say with it.

Well he talk much about Gadget Boy and Heather, but if that show is a prequel series, is it possible that Heather is Penny's mom?

Finders Keepers will be just over 20 minutes. Not much to say with it. We're probably going to see something of a game show boom coming up. In 1989-90, we had Think Fast and Make the Grade, then the 90's cranked out a bunch of them.

1988 premieres:
- David the Gnome - Count Duckula - Doctor Snuggles - Lancelot Link: Secret Chimp - Don't Just Sit There - Kids' Court - The Patty Duke Show - Heathcliff - Noozles
(Plus Family Double Dare which has already been gone over).
I have NO memory of Doctor Snuggles at all, and we've hit the time where I was consuming anything and everything Nick, even as I was rapidly outgrowing the Nick Jr.-type stuff. Not a shock that it's going to be the 1988 leadoff episode (which enables him to talk about the channel as a whole and give a Nick at Nite update). I'm 99% sure Patty Duke actually aired on Nick as well even though it was a Nick at Nite program, but that might not have been for a few more years.

Also, those plush Inspector Gadget dolls,,yikes! Yeah, I don't even remember those as a kid. Those were weird. Speaking of toys though, wonder if he'll bring the Inspector Gadget action figures up in a future addendum video. Specifically...this figure. ...and the face (spoilered for those who still never wanna see it). {Spoiler}

Here I was wondering how many other people would remember Don’t Just Sit There. I have a couple memories from that show. 1) Robert Englund (The actor behind Freddy Krueger) was a guest on an episode where he took Freddy's glove and scratched up and down a chalk board. 2) A Halloween episode with, I think, Lisa Lisa and the Cult Jam. The host talked about the game where people are blindfolded and touch food that feels like body parts. 3) Dick DeBartolo would have a segment on the show where he showed weird gadgets... I think. The set had one area with a bunch of doors and a second area which was more like an interview set.

Unless I'm thinking of another show, I remember an episode (barely) promoting "The Little Mermaid" that had Jodi Benson, Ariel's VA both speaking and singing, on.
