There's some delicious karma in WB banking everything on IRL GTA Character Ezra Miller. The other day I saw someone say Ezra was "terrorizing Hawaii like a nonbinary Stitch," and I love that description.

Ackles has already voiced Batman in more than a few things and he's done a pretty good job of it. I think he could make it work in live action, too.

Jensen should be at the top of the list for MCU Venom.

So... I'm going to ask a question to those that saw the movie.
Do they explain how Barry going back in time aged Bruce Wayne like 2 decades?
Cause... that makes no sense... especially since Bruce should have already been like 20 at that point...

Jensen would make a far better Red Hood...considering ya know he voiced him and people loved it but like said he might be too old to pull off the live version. Jensen Ackles is in his mid-40s, hes way too old to play Red Hood at this point.

I love me some supernatural but Jensen Ackles? Really? I don't see it. If you've seen The Boys, article I read said he's on Gunn's short list because of his role as Soldier Boy. He definitely has the range. I've seen him in The Boys as Soldier Boy and he did a great job there. I just have a hard time picturing him as Batman. I'd still give him a chance to prove me wrong though.

I do love that even this thread about the Flash is now just about Batman. DC can't avoid it.

There's been a lot of talk about the... "cameos" in this film, but this one really looks bad: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}
Oh, and today is the anniversary of his alleged suicide. 64 years ago today.
Friendly reminder there's about half a dozen live action Superman actors still living. Reminds me of the Peter Pan As Villain controversy for the Rescue Rangers movie.

For those who don't know, there was a huge Backlash against Keaton when he was announced as Batman. He was primarily a comedy actor, and people were angry that the guy from Mr. Mom was going to be Batman. There was even petitions to bring back Adam West and fire Keaton. Now that's all forgotten and Keaton is seen as one of the best actors to play Batman. Same for Pattinson last year. He was still known as the guy from Twilight. Then The Batmam came out, was successful, and made people believe he was Batman.

Nothing compares to casting Ledger as the Joker. Man people were MAD. They saw the teen heartthrob from 10 Things I Hate About You or A Knight’s Tale. This guy was replacing Jack Nicholson’s iconic Joker? If you’d seen Brokeback Mountain or Monsters Ball you knew he was an incredible actor. It was very Pattinson like. If you’d seen his indie work post Twilight…you knew he was a great actor.

Even Ben Affleck, who has a whole "make the Batfleck movie" cult movement, was initially very repelled when initially cast, much of it having to do with beef about Daredevil, a movie (like Twilight) at that point over a decade old.

Some projections are putting this at losing $300-$400 million, which means they would literally have saved money by not releasing it.

If there is one silver lining to the Flash movie, its that its given me new appreciation for the Arrowverse. God knows it had its problems and its budget limitations, but pretty much everything the film attempted (mulitiverse cameos, Flashpoint, exploration of Barry) the CW shows did far better and far more respectfully.
Honestly as dubious as it was not giving Grant Gustin a cameo, him not popping up in this fiasco was probably a blessing in disguise and at least gives him a chance to do an appearance in a DCU film down the road that (hopefully) will be far better handled and this one.

Sort of still doesn't explain Batman being 40 years older then him but hey it is what it is. I would had liked them to at least provide more background on what Keaton Batman had done over the years
Keaton looking like the Big Lebowski got a laugh tho

Also, for as much as shit as they are, Erza did a pretty decent job when you take into fact they shot the scenes two times to portray the Barrys
