Wouldn't be surprised if Bryan wanted to put him over and requested to work with him. Anyway, they really should just end 205 Live. It's still a good show, I'm sure, but guys like Ali, Buddy, Nese, Gulak, Gallagher and the others are too talented for that. Certainly not getting on your case in particular, but it's always so strange to me how bigtime wrestling fans, like the sort of geeks that would post here, are all "I hear 205 Live is great, but of course I don't WATCH it!" You know? If it's a good wrestling show, why on earth don't people watch it? Same with NXT, although to a lesser extent. I criticize the writing on the main roster as much as the next guy, but it's only fair to point out that there are easily accessible alternatives available under the WWE umbrella. Edit: Referring to people who haven't given NXT and/or 205 much of a chance. Count me among those who have somewhat lost interest in 205 since a lot of the fun characterization was done away with.

I really do hope they move Ali to one of the main shows. In addition to being amazing in the ring, he comes across as a really likable guy. He'd be a perfect mid-card babyface.

Read a story about how he once reached out to a suicidal fan and helped him. I try not to put performers I enjoy on a pedestal, especially after the Lars shit came to light, but Mustafa Ali's the kind of guy you want representing your company.

I'm going to predict he will be just like Almas others because of his size and maybe his middle Eastern name as riad dog will make him a anti American heel IF he even ge TV time Again. Where is Almas?

I'd love to see him with the main eventers in NXT and have him fued with the likes of Ciampa, Johnny Badass and Aliester Black personally, though I marked hard for him getting that opportunity to work with Bryan. Good for him.

Im on board the "Kill 205 Live" thing, the shit just aint helping anyone anymore. If anything it feels like guys are being more held hostage than being showcased.

Loved the match with Bryan. It reminded me of when Daniel wrestled Jericho on the first episode of the original NXT. Ali has all the tools to be a major star.

Mustafa Ali is too nice. What a throwback to the days where a babyface had swag, a bad ass entrance, strong conviction, and the ability to tear it up with anybody, all while being a nice fellow that you wouldn't mind your sister dating. Kinda like a modernized Bret Hart.

Maybe not kill the show outright, but have the cruiserweights fully integrated into the main roster, feuding with non-cruisers, with 205 Live acting as their B-show in the same way Main Event is for the regular roster.

I say keep Ali on 205 & have him as a regular or SD with him taking the US title from Nakamura & leading to Ali vs Mysterio vs Almas at WM for the US title

NXT and 205Live and NXTUK are really workarounds HHH's found to counter Vince's strangehold on the WWE brand. You can always start up a "developmental" experiment with NXT or for the CWs after the Cruiserweight Classic (another successful experiment HHH slid through the door lol), and even put it on the WWE Network for subscribers only but a USA/cable broadcast of NXT?
That would possibly kill RAW or at least make it obsolete if it gets better ratings every Wednesday on USA than it does on Monday Nights. But make no mistake, if I were a FOX exec I would've pushed to buy NXT first, then probably made an offer for SDLive hoping to book it more like NXT. 205Live is very similar to NXT in terms of in-ring storytelling in fact both rosters make cameos on either show often to the point where Roddy Strong has challenged for both the NXTUK title and the 205Live CW title. Ali appearing on SDLive doesn't make him a permanent member, but like Lucha House Party on RAW it gets him more eyes and fosters the idea that 205 Live is potential 'new-Superstar' territory just like NXT callups.

I don’t watch Raw or SD, was there any explanation given as to why he moved over from the 205 roster?
