I'm tremendously behind the times on a lot of signings/wrestlers so I don't even know who Toni Storm is, but yeah, this is pretty awful. Hopefully she's doing as best she can in the circumstances and they find & punish the guy who did it.

The only positive I can gleam from this - beyond Madison's earlier-stated one of how the commonality of these incidents limit the ultimate overall impact within the company - is that the fact that an ex would do this basically justifies leaving said ex. It's sad that this had to happen, but it just proves the ill character of the man responsible for this leak.
Toni will rebound though. She's too talented and too well-liked for this to linger like a bad stench.

The whole Twitter campaign is a bit strange. I agree to support her but this campaign is just putting more spotlight on the leak surely?

I don't know how to link tweets but Chris Ridgeway was made a statement on this whole thing

Am I the only person who questions why you get upset if this happens when you take nude pictures of yourself in the first place? Because people do stupid shit when they are horny. Asking why should they be upset is pretty obvious, it's an abuse of trust.

Hopefully she sees all the love and support she's been getting and it helps her bounce back from this shitty situation.

Oh I agree, I'd just think it might be better to just let it die, I imagine most people only found out due to people putting out support for her. Either way, I hope she's doing well, I can't imagine what she's going through.

Honestly depending on where the ex is based if he's in the US could have revenge porn as a criminal offense and be prosecuted for leaking her pictures If he was in the UK when he posted it, the maximum punishment is two years in prison.

Revenge porn is pathetic. But I also agree that one should not take explicit photos of themselves or allow anyone else to take them, and trust anyone else with them, or keep them on devices or storage sites that can be stolen or hacked. The risk is not worth satisfying your kinks.

The campaign is only creating more hackers.
Also deleting Social Media is not really something to be sad about. The circumstances sure are horrible but I think she did the right thing in taking a break mentally.

Deplorable ass****. Reprehensible actions. Have nothing else to say about it really. One can argue about whether she should have modeled for this material but at the end of the day someone she trusted created a situation in which other idiots pluck at her self esteem and self worth. Really backwards society we live in

Honestly this nude thing has been around a lot longer than the internet plus it works if your job requires you to be away from your significant other for long periods of time

Toni is aware of the support. I'm OK for the hashtag to die down now, and we move on and let her be for a while.

Am I the only person who questions why you get upset if this happens when you take nude pictures of yourself in the first place? Yes, you are. Look, it's about consent. It's about having control over who you share something as intimate as a nude photo with. You're essentially following the logic of "am i the only person who questions why rape victims get upset when they're having sex with people in the first place." I think comparing this to rape is a bit extreme

I think comparing this to rape is a bit extreme It's basically only one step beneath, and the principles are largely the same. I'll echo others and say that it's like telling someone not to own things because someone might steal it. You'd be surprised how many people share nude photos with their lovers, especially when they have a long distance relationship (which Toni most certainly did). Honestly the REAL question should be "what kind of pathetic person doesn't just delete the pics when they break up with someone?"

I just want to say how happy I am with the discussion here. I’m mostly a lurker but it’s nice to lurk somewhere that understands this situation is not her fault.
Good work, everyone!

I think comparing this to rape is a bit extreme It's not extreme at all. It's someone having something intimate/sexual/private to themselves taken from them without their consent for another's sexual gratification.. Consent in all intimate sexual matter is essential. Please take some time to think about this.

When it comes to "victim blaming", it's not blaming as much as common sense. If I walk down a dark alley in the bad part of town at 3 am. No, I don't deserve to be mugged, but I know there's a strong percentage chance that it could happen. It would be nice if every street was safe and you could walk wherever you want. But right now there's a lot of shitty people lurking around and that's not reality.
It would be cool if you took a nude pic, then be able to delete every single copy of it at the click of a button. But that's not how files, clouds, and hard-drives work currently. For right now, if you don't want nudes being leaked, the only 100% way to guarantee that is to not take them.
I have some "nudes" floating around. I know one day I could wake up and have 20 messages saying "Hey Brent, I saw your wenis". That's just the way it is.

I'm sorry if I'm coming off a little harsh, but the astounding amount of "Just don't do it" and "they should know better" comments in this thread are a little disgusting.
