DEFIANT Wrestling have responded to a "fan" on twitter who had a ticket for their next show. Due to some less than pleasant tweets he made regarding Toni's situation, DEFIANT have cancelled his ticket and made it clear that he's not welcome any longer. It looks like other UK promoters are doing the same thing.
Seeing the wrestling community rally behind Toni like this is a good thing overall. Not only is the outpouring of support a good thing for her to see, but it's also going to help the next person in Wrestling who'll inevitably have to deal with this. WWE had some good foresight with how they handled the Paige situation, and it was a turning point in how these matters are to be dealt with going forward.
Career wise, Toni will be absolutely fine. I think we're thankfully at the point now where leaks are only going to hurt the victim if that victim is doing something illegal (drug usage, activity involving minors) or highly offensive (such as going on a racist rant) within them.
I've been high on Toni Storm since I first saw her at a local promotion back in 2015. It's been great to see the progression of her career in the years that have followed. Hopefully this isn't an emotional setback that she cannot overcome, because the best days of her career are still in front of her. I have a feeling that any doubts she may face going forward will be quickly overcome by the strong show of support she'll receive from the fans at Takeover Blackpool.
As far as i'm concerned, there is no shame in having leaks. Only shame in being a leaker.

I’m sure some people are going to complain about this, but I think it’s cool as f*** that they’re standing behind her so vehemently.

It makes me so happy to see how much the UK wrestling scene in general is standing behind her so firmly on this.

Holy shit?! Like I've never seen anything like this. Lol damn, DEFIANT ain't screwing around! The punishment may sound a tad harsh, but in America we've heard instances of sports teams/sports stadiums exercising their right to ban fans for, in various ways, being essentially 'way too much of an assclown' (two examples would be 'throwing items onto the field of play' and 'yelling hateful speech at the players') so why not wrestling companies doing the same.

You never go full Enzo.
Even Enzo tries not to go full-Enzo.

When it comes to "victim blaming", it's not blaming as much as common sense. If I walk down a dark alley in the bad part of town at 3 am. No, I don't deserve to be mugged, but I know there's a strong percentage chance that it could happen. It would be nice if every street was safe and you could walk wherever you want. But right now there's a lot of shitty people lurking around and that's not reality.
It would be cool if you took a nude pic, then be able to delete every single copy of it at the click of a button. But that's not how files, clouds, and hard-drives work currently. For right now, if you don't want nudes being leaked, the only 100% way to guarantee that is to not take them. I have some "nudes" floating around. I know one day I could wake up and have 20 messages saying "Hey Brent, I saw your wenis". That's just the way it is. This is wrong and that's victim blaming. No matter how many qualifiers you're putting in front of it or over-wordy metaphors, you're still blaming the victims for having their reasonable privacy completely violated at no fault of their own.

Holy shit?! Like I've never seen anything like this. This is really awesome. Hopefully more promotions follow suit. This is the change we need.

Since he deleted his account there’s a very good chance he’s going to show up with his friend to the show. I kind of hope he gets a mild Game of Thrones “Shame” type of chant if he does show. I say a mild chant because I don’t want an ugly situation coming from some kind of self righteous lynch mob mentality that goes too far. No one needs that.

The last thing I want to see is some violent situation that escalates over Defiant’s ban where this character sues the promotion and whoever decides to take part in doing something stupid to him. Then he more or less gets rewarded for his awful behavior. No thanks. Banning him and sending him away is enough.

Nope, I'm right and I'm not victim blaming. You're putting the onus on the victims. That's the very definition of victim blaming. Take a few days to think about this one.

So even though we don’t agree with what she did, we will stand behind her because her privacy was violated right?
My best friend Terry Bolea wanted me to check

As covered earlier in the thread, Hogan's sex tape being made public is as much a violation of his privacy as Toni Storm experienced.
Not touching your trollbait otherwise.
