And even if was clear in the aftermath that Doctor Manhattan had gone rogue, they probably wouldn't have figured that out before launching a retaliatory strike. (Though I guess the same could be said for the squid thing) The squid was only on American soil and was obviously not a Soviet missile. The Soviets wanted to be seen as the good guys on the global stage, attacking someone as they recover from a tragedy is a good way to lose any potential allies. Been awhile, I forgot that in the comic it only was in New York. Yeah, that makes much more sense.

Alright this thread is not really meant to be about the Watchmen and it is my fault at least partially for taking it down this path.
So let's get back to the actual topic,

WB should drain all the colours from the movie, then slow it down during every action scene, and boom, there's your Snyder cut.

Really I think the biggest insult you can really give Justice League is that despite the facts that it had a bunch of shit re-shot for it, had a different director take over in post, and is very short for what it is and compared to the other movies in this universe, it comes out the other end with its narrative feeling relatively cohesive.
Which would basically seem to indicate that most everything that was cut from it would have just been a stupid waste of time.

Yet if you listen to the Snyder cult, the 3.5 hour Snyder Cut is infinitely more cohesive and flows better than the "Josstice League." You know, despite never having seen it. I almost want Warner Bros. to release the damn thing, just to see how much of a shitshow it is. However, I don't want to see the entitled few rewarded and then have to listen to them crow about how they always knew it was an unloved masterpiece that Geoff Johns and Joss Whedon sabotaged and that they were proven right.

What's curious too is there's no way the FX for say Darkseid were done and then scrapped because of how expensive that would be. So would this cut just be actor in mocap pajamas with dots on his face? Cuz that I would like to see.

You get my point.

Only semi-related, but it's a real same Routh didn't get to be in a movie that wasn't awkwardly glommed onto the Reeve movies of decades prior (as much as I did love those). He coulda made the role his own in a different movie.
Glad he's Atom now
