I want Seth to be the guy now. Like, please. That was either planned poorly, written poorly, or delivered very poorly by poor Strowman. He just isn’t ready yet. Not as ready nor as over as Seth is.
Give him a run with the WWE title or make him a heel as he works better in that role, just don’t let him beat Brock only for Drew to come along and get the super push.

Whole thing was stupid.
If Braun was itching for a fight so badly, why didn't he leave the ring and go meet Brock up on the stage or something? Dude was talking a lot of shit in the ring, but didn't look like he really wanted that smoke. The line about shit coming out of Heyman's mouth or whatever was super lame.

Yeah, that line was delivered with so much weakness by Braun. He just isn’t too guy material yet. Let him have the IC title first or something.

I'm glad I missed most of Raw because judging some of the responses it sounded like a horrible segment. It's one of the reasons why I said Strowman shouldn't have been put in that position in the first place. Been telling people for years that he's not made for that.

That whole thing was weird.
Like I dunno if Braun was supposed to improvise or what. Paul’s nonchalant demeanor kills what little if any heat this match has and then..Brock just walks around and it’s a nothing segment.
Then just might as well do nothing. So stupid.

Whever designed that segment needs to be slapped in the face, that was effing horrible for everyone involved and was a waste of everyones time. No one came out looking good, the match didn't look like something you wanted to see... it was straight up awful, especially for Braun

Yeah Braun's not the guy, that's for sure. Though WWE aren't doing him any favors. I don't know if anyone would have pulled that segment off.
Braun looked really nervous to me that whole segment through.

The first hour was fine but it dipped in quality quite a bit. Picked up when Sasha won her match and the Falls Count anywhere capped off the night along with Lashley being booked like a monster, but this segment was one of the three or four that tanked.

It looked and played out like they had talked the Heyman/Brock stuff a week or two ago. From the pacing to the wording and so on, made no sense. Completely weird
They really need to stop booking Braun like Cena and more like Brock.

It’s over. Maybe not for good, but for the foreseeable future. It’s what many of us were scared of. It’s why I didn’t subscribe to the too OP thing. Because I thought Braun was an exception. And I thought the alternative was a one way trip to Bitchville. And that’s where he is. He going to lose at to Brock, again. And after that, who cares?

I dipped after they showed Hogan in the hallway and started watching again when the Ambrose/Rollins match started. From what little I saw Lashley seems to have finally found his groove. He was looking the best he's looked since he's returned and he really looked like a monster. Within these past few interactions with Rollins we finally have a Lashley who seems to have "got it." Rush is great as his hype man too but what he's got now is fire. He's feeling himself and his new character. But Strowman rambling like an idiot and not going after his opponent? That sounds like something they book heels to do. He sounds like he's a few segments away from being the new Bitch of Raw.

Yeah they killed him the moment he stopped being a cartoon character. He comes off completely ridiculous when he talks in his Braun voice for more than a sentence, he looks too goofy to buy as a physical threat in the same gritty, tough way that guys like Brock or Samoa Joe are. I feel like it's all downhill from here once the Brock match is done.

Is BRAUN cleared to wrestle? Looked to me like they thought he might be ready but he wasn’t quite there yet, so they had to do something as they’d already advertised this.

Unbelievable. The most over guy on the roster. Indisputably. The. Most. Over. And now we're here. He's Brock's bitch. f***....that is garbage.

Everything about that was horrible.
Brock was on the tron
Braun then stares into camera..awkwardly...silently.for a creepy ammount of time...just staring...at the camera....instead of the tron..where Brock assuredly was being broadcasted to from the back......of which Braun should have just went to and fought Brock.
But no ...kept staring into the camera...maybe he saw his reflection for the first time in the lense...yea that's it Braun finally saw his beard and could not look away

Yeah, it’s looking more and more like they cleared him too soon and are waiting till the rumble to let him compete or do anything.

I'd be cool with that. I liked the two singles matches they've had so far. Seth can face Brock, Finn can move to SD and challenge Bryan after winning at Elimination Chamber or whatever. I haven't decided yet where that'd leave AJ, though.

I love that talking a lot of shit and then doing literally nothing is just a Braun character trait now

As someone who never liked Braun, I would be smug about this EXCEPT it's obvious he's gone from being painfully OP to being hit with WWE Top Face Syndrome like Roman did. And now Braun's fans are going to suffer like we who are/were Roman fans did and I feel sorry for them.
