This is 100% what that segment should've been Off topic but man, Joe should have really won this feud. Agreed, I was watching that segment before I posted it here and was like, "Man that was a f***ing fire promo from Joe."

They had something with Brawn and Alexa, but did nothing with it. Brawn was also showing personality and charisma with a funnier element to his character but that was ignored too.
Terrible booking.

How boring as shit must this have been live? I am absolutely convinced that the whole "It's so much better live!" idea is dead when it comes to Raw.

If they're going to move to freer promos, they should really be using house shows for practice runs to see who needs work or help. They have tons of them. It would also give wrestlers a chance to work up their confidence and presentation for the televised shows.

Any big guy could have got over if they were allowed to flip over trucks and shit. People say stuff like this quite often as if wrestling history isn't littered with shitloads of megapushed big guys who didn't get nearly as over. Braun had the office behind him, I won't deny that, but almost all of these kinds of pushes get killed the second the first truck flip or two doesn't work. Braun contributed to this.

I can’t remember guys like Snitsky, Kozlov and Ezekiel flipping over trucks and doing cartoony shit like that. Braun got the right booking and it paid off. He’s not completely talentless but he’s been manufactured to be in this spot whether we like it or not.

I heard there was nothing between the two because braun still isn't cleared to do anything yet.

They could have it go like the Joe/Brock segment that I posted earlier or hell, have the McMahons institute the old HHH/Austin "zero tolerance" policy.

Of course the flip truck helped but all through wrestling big moments and feats are nothing without the wrestler. It was Braun tremendous presence, the energy and how ferocious he acted that sold that whole segment. hell the truck isn't even the most memorable part. it is the IM NOT FINISHED WITH YOU. And that is how the audience likes Braun, a monster that doesn't let go of anyone he gets his hands. Not the loser that doesn't get things done.

Okay so I just got round to watching this segment.... what the f*** was that? Lmao
At first I thought Braun forgot his lines... then I thought the Lesnar/Heyman thing was pre recorded and Braun was waiting for his cues to start talking and stuff... then it turns out Brock was actually there.
Like why was it even split screen in the first place?
I’m super confused. Has anyone made sense of this?

Braun doesn't need to talk, he just needs to finally debut his secret weapon, the 720 double shooting star press finisher

Negan™, do you ever think Brock's advocate's ass ever gets jealous of all the crap that comes out of his mouth?

That promo got me more hyped for a WWE/WWF match than I've been since, I'm not joking, the early 1990s. I can't think of another where I was more interested in how it'd go down, especially since Joe/Brock was a dream matchup for me going back a handful of years. Then I saw the actual match and felt about as let down as I'll let my limited WWE viewing get me.

I was really into the builds for the Ambrose, Joe, Orton and (first) Braun matches, but they just ended up being big wet farts when the bell rang.

Yeah, it was my first real taste of post-Suplex City Brock, and it wasn't a good one. I was thinking it'd look more like his pre-WM 31 matches but with added Joe-related brutality. How wrong I was.
