Speaking of someone else with big time potential They need to pair her and Ford together ASAP as they are already a married couple in real life. That dude looks money and has the swagger to match hers They could kill it as an onscreen pair
Yep. They'd be Miz/Maryse-esque except I think they've got higher potential. Also Montez's homie can be their friend similar to Cole from Martin. He said Cole from Martin, I’m dead lmao

The "It's developmental" argument is nullified when developmental is shown on TV each week, has a PPV every couple months and is basically it's own national touring brand within WWE. Yes, it may be development but way more polish is expected from NXT than any standard run of the mill developmental, like OVW, Deep South, etc. My dude, you ever go to a local indie with a wrestling school and see the students job in a quick tag match or work a battle royal? NXT is more polished and people who get to the level Belair did are more refined than rookie trainees fumbling around and learning their way through something totally insane. But that doesn't mean someone who's been working for three years is a finished product and the fact that they're running big events has literally no bearing on the idea that someone three years into their career has a lot of room left to grow and develop. There's people who have been in NXT way longer than Belair and can't lock down a consistent TV spot, a ton of people who wash out of the system before we ever see them do much of anything. There's even two distinct house show tours that exist for different levels of "developed". Belair worked a better match last night than some people who've made it to the main show, this is all just totally missing the mark. Is it really though? Kassius Ohno - 20 years experience Roderick Strong - 19 years Hanson - 18 years Aleister Black - 17 years Rowe - 16 years Ricochet - 15 years Johnny Gargano - 14 years Kyle O’Reilly - 14 years Tommaso Ciampa - 14 years Matt Riddle - 4 years Bianca Belair - 3 years Shayna Baszler - 3 years Yes. Yes, it's still developmental. It's a system that serves two different functions, but there is undisputably a wrestling school involved where people who learned how to wrestle are put onto television to learn how o be on television. What a bizarre statement. Yeah I understand why there has to be a clear distinction here. NXT is developmental as they have house shows for the more underdeveloped people who haven’t made it to TV yet. These vets who are there are to help the younger people on the roster as well

Belair just doesn’t have it. Like I feel like she’s only getting this mini push because she’s been there for so damn long. There’s a reason she’s been there for as long as she has and only recently been getting any tv time. I feel like this is a “good try kid” now we gotta let you go.

How is that long?
She won't even turn 30 until this year

She literally only had her first match in September 2016. Compare to someone like Slater who was in the WWE development system for five years despite having a couple of years experience beforehand, and when they called him up it was initially just to be a warm body on NXT. She's hardly been stalled out in the development system for an eternity like an Eric Escobar. And that's not even getting into the fact she had the arena going crazy for her and they made her look absolutely unstoppable. I see zero reason why they would release her after that or would have been considering that going in.

These vets who are there are to help the younger people on the roster as well Easiest comparison; My wrestling school does smaller gym and bigger episode shows. The gym shows are there for greener people to wrestle to adjust to crowds and planning matches, essentially the “house show” and episode shows are the “Takeovers” where vets wrestle along with the ready younger talent. Those bigger episodes have stars to draw the crowd, sure, but they also have the talent that’ll be the future stars to draw the crowds in later on.
