So at the Multimedia screening for the film in the UK, they gave the opportunity for people to film a bit where they put themselves in a version of the trailer.
One of my friends did. This is the result.

I'll be seeing this one for sure with a couple girl friends. We love action/ blowing-shit-up movies. Plus, sexy AF stars.

This definitely looks like a movie to go watch with the boys, so I’m looking forward to it tomorrow. Also, morbidly curious about Roman.

So for those seeing the movie, there's a mid-credits and post-credits scene.
Also, reading the reviews for this...from Variety's review.

Just came back from watching it. Everything that you would expect is completely in this film. It's thrilling, over the top, ridiculous, and loud fun.
I loved every second of it. Can't wait for the sequel.
The series should've ended with "Furious 7" and they should truly focus on spin-off films. I feel they have something great here with a Rock and Statham buddy cop element.

Vin really can't carry these movies as the sole lead, no matter how big the supporting cast gets, while Rock and Statham have absolutely insane chemistry together. {Spoiler}The presumed addition of Ryan Reynolds for the sequel just adds another layer, especially if he can bring the same kind of energy he does for Deadpool.

The movie was a lot of fun. There's nothing revolutionary about it, but the one liners are pretty funny and there's not a lot of heavy plot weighing it down. The post credit scenes are amusing, but if you skip them you aren't missing all that much other than a mild tease for a possible sequel. Mild Roman related spoiler: {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}Basically, if you've seen the previews, you've seen his part in the film. No speaking lines, but he does have some fun spots in the final fight. And of course, he carries the grand tradition of wrestlers doing their signature moves in their first movie.

This doesn't surprise me at all. Lots of traditional action movie stars have fragile egos or did in their heyday. It's almost as if they couldn't stomach the idea of someone not buying their tough guy shit.

Terry Crews is basically posting on Twitter about all the times he’s jobbed in movies and it’s kind of great.

My buddy and I thought it kinda sucked lol. And I’m ..basing it a lot on the fast and furious flicks and just action flicks in general. Shit gets repetitive. The actions dope, yeah, more so the set pieces rather than the fights. Last fights dope. And Idris is DOPE.
But the film feels..clunky. Enjoyed Fast 5, furious 6, furious 7 way way more as action flicks and just as movies in general. But it’s an okay time.
Holy shit though was I bummed about romans bit lol. Thought he had a cool spear though. Hope the guy gets to land a role he can put something into.

Saw it last night and its a massive improvement over the 8th one and it nice to see a F&F film that hasn't been dragged down in order to appease Vin Diesel's ego.
That this film also has to have what is the most accurate portrayal of a Samoan mother in the history of cinema.

The plot is pretty basic as it gets , but the banter between Rock & Statham is what makes this movie worth watching. Idris is great also as is Vanessa Kirby. IMO this the best movie in this franchise since fast five
** Spoilers **
the 2 cameos by Hart & Reynolds were absolutely hilarious , I hope this is Hobbs new crew for sequels to this spinoff or even if he returns to the main franchise. One thing which wasnt addressed in this where was Owen Shaw , why wasnt he mentioned at all ?

Maybe they became estranged when he found out Deckard was helping Dom?

Read up on The Towering Inferno and how much the producers had to deal with Steve McQueen and Paul Newman trying to one-up each other on screen and even on the poster.

I am not sure if Luke Evans was busy or not, but I do recall Helen Mirren's character mentioning Owen in passing when Deckard went to visit her. However, it would have been better if Hattie had mentioned Owen as well.
