Damn... just damn.
Though him having to give up (?) get stripped (?) of Goldy is the worst thing that could ever happen to the asshole. “Karma” for his misdeeds.
Something like that.

I'm reading that Meltzer didn't know specifically what work Ciampa needed done, so he could be out anywhere between six to fourteen months.

This sucks.
Give the title to Adam Cole at Takeover: NY, call up Gargano, and have Gargano vs Ciampa end on the main roster when Ciampa's back.

Torn ACL and now neck surgery. All before he did a thing on the main roster.
Keep it up! This developmental system is doing great! We’re preparing guys to make a huge impact on the big shows by sending them up held together with duct tape.

*Unless of course he know his career is over.

They need to send Gargano back to NXT if that's the case. There's already enough bodies on the main roster, send Gargano back to NXT and have him work there until post-Summerslam to where he can be called up again. He's great and all but he's just needed more on NXT.
Sucks for Ciampa, damn. He's going to have trouble depending on how this works out. This whole DIY feud is the shits.

Yea, keep Gargano in NXT until Summerslam
At this point now it's time to move on to Adam Cole being the Guy and Johnny Gargano can make that happen

Yeah, demote him to NXT and have him, Adam Cole, and Velveteen Dream be your headliners while you build some more people up (or more likely just sign some other random people). Best way to salvage this situation.

I agree, have Johnny fued with Adam (which will give us the Gargano NXT title run we've deserved for a while) Have him drop it to Adam at Takeover: Toronto 2 and THEN call him up.

We’re preparing guys to make a huge impact on the big shows by sending them up held together with duct tape. Exactly. It’s 100% Hunter and NXT that are the problem, not the fact that Ciampa has been wrestling for 15 years, most of those (likely) without any health insurance. You don’t see Indy wrestlers getting injured all the time EDIT: I got way too smarmy here, I apologise for being a douche.

Daniel Bryan issues started years before he was in the WWE. The WWE only fault would be waiting to long to call them up and have there main roster moments or not push them when they call them up. Look at Nakamura, the guy was burned and everything else before signing and many wonder just how long he was going to be here. It does suck bad for Ciampa and I hope he comes back soon but bad luck been his deal in his run here. Even when he healthy he been amazing but staying healthy is the problem.

Honestly, I’ve never really thought about it til now, but the fact that health insurance is still a luxury not a right in the US doesn’t help anything. You know your average Indy worker isn’t seeing a doctor unless it’s severe. Probably cause more damage then they realise working through injuries because they can’t afford medical care. Seriously “can’t afford medical care” is not a sentence I should have to write about first World country in 2019

Looking it up it's usually a three to six month recovery time to resume regular activity, so accounting for getting back into ring shape bare minimum he's probably going to be out at least until SummerSlam or so and possibly quite a bit longer.
