Looking it up it's usually a three to six month recovery time to resume regular activity, so accounting for getting back into ring shape bare minimum he's probably going to be out at least until SummerSlam or so and possibly quite a bit longer. I mean is that regular person regular activity or pro wrestler regular activity? I can’t imagine that would account for recovery to continue to get whiplash a couple of times a week. regardless, hopefully he can come back. But more importantly hopefully he gets all of the facts and makes a proper decision based on his health and future after wrestling.

Well, that's why I was guessing SummerSlam at the earliest, would give a couple of months to be able to get back to the gym. I assume it'll be longer than that, though.

Let's have a realistic time table and say he's going to be out until November, at the latest. I wouldn't rush this, as neck issues ended many a career.

This! If your are a top level indies guy, there is a good chance the already beaten to hell before NXT. Daniel Bryan issues started years before he was in the WWE. The WWE only fault would be waiting to long to call them up and have there main roster moments or not push them when they call them up. Look at Nakamura, the guy was burned and everything else before signing and many wonder just how long he was going to be here. It does suck bad for Ciampa and I hope he comes back soon but bad luck been his deal in his run here. Even when he healthy he been amazing but staying healthy is the problem. Honestly, I’ve never really thought about it til now, but the fact that health insurance is still a luxury not a right in the US doesn’t help anything. You know your average Indy worker isn’t seeing a doctor unless it’s severe. Probably cause more damage then they realise working through injuries because they can’t afford medical care. Seriously “can’t afford medical care” is not a sentence I should have to write about first World country in 2019 Yeah we shouldn't have to be writing about it but we do. Just kind of shows how a lot of things are just ass backwards. Let's have a realistic time table and say he's going to be out until November, at the latest. I wouldn't rush this, as neck issues ended many a career. I'm going to say Royal Rumble, Maybe a little before but in ring return for that Take Over if they still plan on keeping him in NXT. It seemed like he was on his way to being one of the next call up in this year draft.

Interesting little note I saw somewhere that they already have tentative plans for him when he returns. So that sounds promising, I hope it works out for him.

I guess we'll have this Gargano/Ciampa stuff held off yet again until the end of this year depending on Ciampa's recovery time
All for the best main roster wise imo, Gargano and Ciampa being friends on the main was stupid. Black and Ricochet are ready and enough right now.

I didn't really see it as them being friends on the main roster, though. The backstage interactions prolly were just trying for "NXT guys sticking together against the mean main roster guys"... Gargano's gaze was still on Goldy a lot of the time during their entrances, and their interactions post-wins looked pretty tense to me. Gargano seemed a bit more 'into it' after the DIY win on NXT this week. But of course there's more time and space to flesh things out on NXT than Raw or Smackdown.

Fingers crossed he'll be ok. That one picture of where they marked where the incision would be made me cringe. Poor guy.

I think their whole story kind of fits into a little bit too much nuance for some people It's a long story yes, and there has been twist and turns but they still do a lot of little shit I appreciate

So, does he just not have to defend the title for that long? Do they have Gargano do it for him?

Is Goldy wearing a neck brace too? Yep So, does he just not have to defend the title for that long? Do they have Gargano do it for him? By what I've heard, there's a taping scheduled for this week and hopefully we'll get some answers then.

I’m glad I managed to get a ticket, they tend to sell out quick.
