The red-and-black paint was just... offputting. The Quebecers wearing Mountie uniforms while their theme said they weren't the Mounties. And what's more, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police does NOT hold jurisdiction in the Province of Quebec. |

Another vote for Randy Savage the frilly cowboy.
Also the Road Warriors in WWF. Not an act that needs to be over-produced...the red-and-black scheme was too cartoony for me.

Another vote for Randy Savage the frilly cowboy. Also the Road Warriors in WWF. Not an act that needs to be over-produced...the red-and-black scheme was too cartoony for me. As a kid, I absolutely loved both. I was just getting into WWF wrestling at the time when Randy Savage, the Road Warriors and Ultimate Warrior were all these technicolour, larger-than-life, crazy characters, and it blew my mind. It was like watching real life superheroes on the screen. Although within a couple of years, I ended up liking Bret Hart and Mr. Perfect much more, as relatively reserved, serious guys. |

Hulk Hogan in wrist bands instead of wrist tape. I couldn't figure out for years why he looked so different in WCW but this was one of the minor changes that looked so weird.

Outside of the red and yellow color scheme WCW Hogan almost looked completely different then the Hogan you think of from his WWF days. Much leaner, no colored eyebrows the wristbands instead of wrist tape and for some reason all his WCW merchandise just looked like Dollar Store versions of his WWF merch. They were all a slighly brighter yellow, not enough to make it a noticeable change, but enough that you could see something was a little... off. |
