Think it's safe to say at this point that the doors are off and any comic related property has a shot at getting adapted. Who do you think would be the best fit, for what, and why?
For me....
SCAPLED-TV More than any other series i'm surprised this hasn't been picked up. WGN optioned it and shot a pilot with a really good cast, but to my knowledge no footage is out there and the actors are mostly on to new things. Super rich noir narrative, at least three seasons of storylines scripted in the comic, no fancy special effects required, and it's the best original series of the last decade.
EX MACHINA-TV Great story, plenty of narrative to draw from, and a storyline that is more relevant today than ever before. No one even wants to try?
Northlanders-MOVIE Viking shit is super popular right now, and Northlanders is more Last Kingdom than Vikings. Probably some money in a Sven The Returned movie.

Transmetropolitan. The budget would be out of control to the point no one would back it and it’ll never be made, but I’d love to see it.

"Living In Infamy" - TV mini-series Plot: Infamy, Arizona is an average American small town in the middle of the desert, except that it is also the ultimate witness relocation program safehouse/prison for super-villains who give evidence against their partners in crime. Several stories ran through the original 4-issue mini-series, the main ones being a normal teenager finding out his parents were villains (father was a gadget/weaponmaster and mother was an evil Wonder Woman, both fell in love and turned on their boss), and a powerful villain finding the location of Infamy and attacking to get revenge on those who turned on him This is one of the covers...

I would love to see a Danger Girl movie or TV show. I know many people would dismiss as a Charlie's Angels knock-off, but I would watch it.
I also remember hearing about script being made for a Painkiller Jane movie, and I mean an actual movie. I would also like another TV show of it, but this time it would have more in common with the comics, not how the TV show was back in 2007.

James Robinson's Starman.
After rereading the first 17 issues in volume one of the omnibus for like the fourth time, I reckon there's enough there for the first series
Give Opal City a unique stylized look, have it be set in a continuity rich with golden age references and make sure you do an ep every series where he talks to his dead brother

"Vext" - TV sitcom PLot: Vext is a god, a deity from a long-forgotten religion... the god of bad luck and mishaps. He's been kicked out of the Afterworlds and lands on Earth, trying to survive without causing too many earthquakes, along with the help of his new neighbor Penny Colleen, who just assumes Vext is a little crazy.

I can't believe Gaiman's Sandman has been in developmental hell for almost thirty years.
People have worked on it, and gotten close, but it always falls apart.

I don't understand how 100 Bullets isn't on premium cable or one of the VOD services. It's made for the formats they love.

Art Spiegelman's reasons for not agreeing to an animated Maus adaptation are completely fair and I respect his decision to not commercialize a very personal story of his. That being I do wonder what a really good animation and voice team could do with the material.

Squirrel Girl, just so they cast Kate Micucci in the lead role.

I'd love to see an animated We3 adaptation. I'd probably be a mess afterwards (as would everyone else), but it would be great.

Sleepwalker would have been a great premise for a Netflix show (guy ends up being the host for a mystical spirit who can only come out when his host is sleeping).

They should’ve struck when the iron was hot and actually made good sequels to Sin City. After the first one, how the f*** do you not immediately adapt the rest?

Green Lantern, but not Hal Jordan. Hal Jordan sucks. John Stewart should be the go-to Green Lantern these days because we need more minority superheroes and he's just a more interesting character. Simon Baz or Jessica Cruz could work too. So could that gay Earth-2 version of Alan Scott. Hell, even if it has to be a straight white dude, both Kyle Rayner and Guy Gardner are way better characters than Hal.

I love Hal Jordan, so I will not participate in any Jordan bashing, but man I would love to see a Green Lantern Corps movie. Hal, John, Guy, Jess, Kyle, Simon and all sorts of alien GL’s would be so much fun. Plus, it’d give an excuse to put G’Nort in a movie EDIT: And Mogo!! You could do some cool ass shit with Mogo
