They just HAD to protect Ronda no matter what. Of f***ing course.
THEN JUST HAVE BECKY PIN CHARLOTTE.
OR BETTER YET, DON'T EVEN HAVE RONDA IN THE DAMN MATCH TO BEGIN WITH!

That is the ending that the build deserved but not the ending that the match deserved

Is no one appreciating how quick Charlotte walked into the stadium from her helicopter?? She can run in high heels ,she clearly mastered all forms of walking

I thought the match was a lot of fun. Not the most technically proficient, but a really good brawl. The ending was a little out of left field, and I would've preferred a definitive pin/submission over a flash pin, but overall I enjoyed it a bunch.
Also, BECKY! BECKY! BECKY! BECKY! BECKY!

Becky's my favorite wrestler, period, but Charlotte is undoubtedly the most gifted of all the women.

In the grand scheme of things, few Mania main events in recent years have been all that stellar and I\d say it stands up as better than any of the Brock main events of recent years, and certainly over Roman/Taker. The women may not have had the undisputed best match on the show and that's going to fuel a lot of people whose minds are already made up about the women and whose hot takes are never going to be dissuaded, but it was a fine match. Not as good as it would have been without Ronda, but still good.

The match didn't really tell a story. It was just a bunch of stuff that happened. The ending was anticlimactic. Disappointing.

I will judge the ending of that match further when 1)We get information on the condition of Charlotte, as she looked like she damaged herself
and
2)We find out if the shoulder thing was a botch the announcers were covering up for or will be something just to set up the one on one Lynch/Rousey match.
Otherwise, good match there.

To the point people are making that Kofi should have closed the show. I think that Kofi/Bryan would have suffered just as much from how god damn late it was.
They really need to stop doing this shit, it's been to the detriment of what's meant to be their main draw for years now.
Maybe kill the battle royals. Shift them to some sort of network only axxess thing earlier in the weekend or something.
Or, I dunno, do the two day thing. I've never really been a fan of that suggestion, feel like it waters it down, but f*** if you're killing your main events by testing how long the crowd can stay awake, maybe it's for the best.

Also, gotta lay it out here: there was no mass exodus. No crowd rebellion. People stayed, people cared, and anyone who's going to keep insisting the women are driving people away and nobody cares and they don't belong at the top from this moment forward look like absolute f***ing clowns, and they should honestly be treated like it.

Seeing stuff on Twitter that the finish was botchced and Becky was supposed to tap out Charlotte. Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful.com is saying it. Sorry I can’t post from my phone.

Given how damn loooong the show was, I think the women did a pretty damn good job keeping the crowd in it.

Ending aside, that went as I felt it should have. All 3 ladies brought their A-game and just beat the hell out of each other, they proved that women can indeed main-event a Wrestlemania

I didn’t love it but it wasn’t Reigns or Lesnar so it was cool by me.

Underrated part of the story is Becky getting her first WM win. She was 0-3 heading in.

It could've very well been botched, which would be a shame, but with how weird this feud has gotten I wouldn't be surprised if the sources were bullshitting to throw people off and maybe keep interest in that Becky vs. Ronda one on one match going. Like I think it was also being reported that Ronda wanted to put Charlotte over and refused to lose to Becky, lol.

It was a really enjoyable match. What worked against it was the fact that it was the sixteenth match on a show that had already gone seven hours by the time it started. But they were starting to pick up steam and the crowd was getting back into it and then... it just sort of ended.

I'm glad it was Ronda regardless if she might have been upset about it. Ronda needed to be the one to take the L and Becky needed to take the W so as long as those 2 parts happened then we at least got the important parts out of the way.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was a botch, but if it was, it was better for Becky to defeat Ronda instead of Charlotte for the millionth time. I think I might have a bigger issue with Becky not getting much of a celebration.
