She seems like a pain in the ass. Let her sit out. The women’s division isn’t hurting without her.

Does anyone actually know what Meltzer’s quote on this was? Because I just read an article somewhere with a title that indicated Sasha wants to sit out her contract, but nowhere in the article did it actually say that. It just said that WWE would allow that to happen. And then in this article it says Meltzer said she wants that to happen, but there’s no quote of him saying it in the article. Would like the clarification. Listened to WOR this morning. Report in OP is accurate.

Bit concerned that her style of wrestling back out on the indies could lead to an early retirement, once she eventually gets to wrestle of course.

I mean, it’d be nice to know what actually happened first before I make a judgement on stuff.
Mostly because I don’t think anyone’s actually SAID what’s happened yet. And no, “four sources saying they stropped” doesn’t count because that says nothing.

Damn how long is she going to sit out? Mind you Wrestlevotes is one of the guys saying she and Bayley were acting immature with sources so if you believe this then believe it.

At this point I don't even think it matters that much because we won't get the full story unless WWE gets pissed off and leaks it but they seem to still want her back
Sasha wants out and WWE wants to try to appease her but it seems they also have no problem letting her sit

I am kinda curious about what Sasha's demands are.

For arguments sake, if her contract runs let's say 2 more years if WWE really is tired of her and would let her go, she is going to have to pay a pretty penny
It's essentially sit and give up some of your prime physical years (though this could be good for her body long term) or ride out the contract for however long she has left or at least kill the dates and then sit out a few months

Well, she did post something on IG yesterday that said "I don't fear commitment, I fear wasting my time" so she's one with riding it out as long as she gets what she wants. We'll see.

I mean good for her, one would hope she has some shit going for her during this time because no way she wrestlers anymore this year if she sits out
WWE showed with Neville they are willing to play the waiting game

Bayley’s last tweet is interesting in this context: That touches on that dig the commentators got in on Sasha during Sunday's Shield house show followed by them saying SD being a fresh start for Bayley. Could be me reading too far into it, but to me it's a bit of a narrative forming that Sasha was a bad influence.

I joked Sasha ruined Bayley like Davey Richards ruined Eddie Edwards but it could not have been far off lol
Either way, it seems Bayley is embracing the new change and that mindset could only help her

Reads as if getting away from Sasha’s bullshit is something she is looking forward to. Could be reading too much into it though. Yeah, that's not how I read that. I read it more as, "A change of scenery may do me some good. Perhaps, I can have a fresh start where I haven't been squashed and humiliated." You could be right and I could be wrong, but that was just how I read it. I read it as a little of A, a little of B. Smackdown is new territory for her and it's a fresh start. At the same time, she's away from the negative influence that is Sasha and also from management favorites like Lacey, Alexa and Nia, who will always be favored over her. On Smackdown, she's among friends, including Charlotte, who probably has some clout, Becky, who has a rocket strapped to her right now, and Carmella, who she can lean on for emotional support. All around, a better move for her career and for her mental health.

I fully support Sasha in this. I don't remember, but were people on this board just as negative when Pac did it, or is it different because it's Sasha?
Also, I love how they're independent contractors for healthcare and saving on tax purposes for the WWE, but the second someone wants to work elsewhere, "No you're a damn employee with a contract." That's what years of political connections and monopolization of an industry without fear of anti-trust issues gets you. I applaud Ventura for trying so many years ago.
If someone wants to leave, they should be allowed to leave. Forcing people to work somewhere against their will is just wrong, no matter what you pay them.

This looks like a job for Malicious Compliance - giving promos like Shatner, clearly working in-ring in "zero f***s mode", working side projects so frequently and without any seeming value; hanging around the jobber locker room like a lump; basically stinking up the joint until they either release her or until they send her home and let her sit out the contract.
Hell, if she throws tantrums Alicia Fox-style on TV it might give them an idea to put them together in a tag team. Clearly, though, she's of greater value to them than WWE is to her at the moment. One way or another, they're going to give her what she wants.

People saw Neville point and he worked his dates. Neville success was basically a curse for him because he was stuck with the CW's when he should have been moved up like they are doing with Ali, Ced, Murphy.
Attitude does matter and Sasha has seemingly had a bad one. Also people still support Sasha, but more people got sour on her after the tantrum story got out because it wasn't a good look for her

No soap, laying around in protest... that's it Sasha needs a gimmick change to a hippie. Daizee Haze isn't using it anymore.

Could be me reading too far into it, but to me it's a bit of a narrative forming that Sasha was a bad influence. Bayley seems like she wants to at least keep trying and a new brand gives her a chance to change and grow. Sasha however, seems to be over WWE and their bullshit entirely. I imagine your best friend being in a sour mood over stuff that you just want to move on from can get annoying, no matter how great friends you are.
