So from now on, three people from Raw will show up on SmackDown and vice-versa. Because... ... ... ... And also the rule is broken immediately because Elias and Lars also showed up. And also now it's four because Lars even though he was the fifth.

I hope the ratings are even worse than last week, sincerely.

That was quicker than expected. I at least thought they'd wait until SmackDown started airing on Fox before doing something like this.

This was the most confusing, overthought garbage I've been embarrassed enough to see in WWE the past 15 years. Just wow. So guys who are normally on RAW (Who have recently been on Smackdown) may show up on Smackdown?
I'm at a loss

I love how they think the best way to stop viewing figures from plumetting is to bring over a few wrestlers from the other show that is bleeding viewers.

This is going to down in the annals of SmackDown's Top 10 and the New Talent Initiative as things WWE came up with, forgot, and would like us to forget never happened.

I'm just gonna quote myself from last year when the ratings decision was to end branded PPVs:

Don't know why I thought they might try something before f***ing up the brand split. Too hopeful I guess.

"I know how to fix RAW, let's make it even shittier!" - Vince McMahon.
He should be exiled and mocked on his way out of society.

I can't remember a more nonsensical shake-up/draft angle in WWE. The wrestlers were never officially announced for either show, they just showed up and commentary would say something like "DOES THIS MEAN?"
Then, in a way that seemed a bit more official, posted which wrestler ended up on which show. But then some of this changed weeks later as some wrestlers were moved to different shows, mostly for personal relationship reasons.
Now we can get wrestlers from show A on show B, but only three, unless someone cheats and does it anyway.

I love how they think the best way to stop viewing figures from plumetting is to bring over a few wrestlers from the other show that is bleeding viewers. The amazing thing is even if that DID work, it'd only be for the first week, maaaaybe two. After that it becomes commonplace and loses all value.

Nobody's watching the show, and we're going to fix this by further marginalizing our roster and using the same people consistently across both shows in a way that puts over nobody.

Just looking at the results, i think the best part of all this is they couldn't even get through one show before f***ing it up. Despite there only meant to be 3 SmackDown guys, there were 6 all up.
Now I'm not a genius (unlike Vince, apparently). But I'm pretty sure that '6 > 3.'

Vince has no idea how to fix this, but is also absolutely certain he's the only one who can fix it and that the problem is entirely not his fault.

That was really the best they could come up with? Friggin' hell. I don't know whether the hashtag should be #ImpeachVince or #PurgeCreative again.

Nobody's watching the show, and we're going to fix this by further marginalizing our roster and using the same people consistently across both shows in a way that puts over nobody. WWE doesn't know how to make stars since they argue people pay the tickets simply because "WWE" is on the ticket, and as a result, talent marketability is fragmented. They also deliberately kneecap everyone who gets over in spite of WWE's directive approach, considering how history has shown. Rather than having multiple assets that are interchangeable at any time, they'd rather have just a few assets they push in front of everyone each week. It's a similar problem WWE endured around, oh, 2003? The quality on both shows was, give or take, consistently good due to the quality of the wrestlers at the time, even though the way American wrestling at the time was still punch-punch-kick-finisher and not about spotfests, but if you look at each show, you could count the number of true "stars" (people they could put on the main event and put as the focus of a series of house show tours, which I know today is useless, but back then, was still valuable) on RAW or SmackDown each with one hand. In a perfect world, WWE would allow for anyone who gets over with the crowd to be rewarded for achieving something that would be a challenge otherwise, but again; if it's in spite of the greater goal, then the wrestler or team will be punished accordingly after the company makes its token amount of income from merch sales. Just throwing Roman Reigns and a few scant other people everywhere and everything won't make the problems go away. If anything, it'll make them worse.
