I'm hearing that it apparently was a suicide I had a sneaking feeling from the outset it might have been. I thought I remembered hearing her having issues with depression in the past. RIP Ashley. I always thought she deserved more in WWE.

I'm hearing that it apparently was a suicide I had a feeling this was what happened. Just makes it even more sad.

Man, hearing it may be a suicise is such a punch in the gut. And that’s always how I feel in these cases. I just feel such empathy for people who find themselves in that dark a place. I wish I could tell them that things can get better and convince them not to take that option from which there’s no coming back.

I hope her official cause of death is revealed soon so we can stop having all this reckless speculation.

RD (or was it the other one) called her "tranny" I was thinking that but the previous posts made it sound like a less obvious slur. the one I remember was "concrete t*ts"

I just keep thinking about losing 2 of my friends when I was 21 hurt, and not even being able to imagine how infinitely worse losing your young mother when you just left high school must be.

I'd also like to add I enjoyed her short-lived run on Survivor: China. She was pretty fun in her two episodes.
She delivered way more content than some Survivor contestants do for an entire season. Am I right, Survivor: South Pacific fifth placer Rick Nelson?

Am I right, Survivor: South Pacific fifth placer Rick Nelson? As a big fan of both medias, I remember marking out (bro) at the notion of an actual wrestler playing a season of Survivor. It's too bad Ashley didn't last too long on the "island", she got ill while there and that sapped her energy to the point where she wasn't effective in challenges for her tribe. She was the 2nd voted out, and would've been the 1st voted out overall, except that her tribe got quickly annoyed by another castaway (a guy by the name of Chicken. Yeah, total shocker that he'd somehow annoy people. ) and he was plucked sooner than Ashley. As for her Survivor entertainment acumen you alluded to, now I'm tempted to rank her amongst all the other "2nd person voted out of a season" in Survivor history. At the very least she was more entertaining than others who got much farther in a season (lookin' at you, 3rd place finishers Scout & Dr. Mick).
