Bayley is back. Charlotte can go full mad queen. Becky looked great, and her feud with Lacey has some juice.

Yeah, it did a great job of heating Bayley right back up as a face while ending 2 Beltz in a way that wouldn’t make fans mad, and also setting up two ongoing title feuds.

I think the only grievance I have is pointlessly doing the Carmella fake out injury spot for... basically no reason other than to grind the match to a halt when she limped back.
Beyond that... Not really a fan of giving Bayley the title but they did it in about the best way they possibly could've while keeping her face, especially since unlike usual quick cash-ins she actually earned the belt by taking out Charlotte and Lacey first.

Not to mention, it was actually a nice babyface moment for Bayley since she primarily came out to even the odds for Becky. If she really wanted an easy title win, she would have waited for Lacey and Charlotte to leave, and picked the bones of Becky for the Raw Women's title. Instead, she came out in spite of the fact that there was certainly going to be better opportunities to cash in, but found herself in a pretty good spot when Charlotte missed the spear. |

Becky vs Lacey was probably the latter's best showing in WWE.
Using Lacey as the catalyst to have Charlotte beat Becky was smart booking. It protected the face and gave Charlotte an opportunistic tinge.
That's when booking picked up.
The crowd was there - they were waiting for Bayley to even the odds. When she did, they reacted. When Bayley cashed in on Charlotte, it was karma for the latter.
They seemed to rehab Bayley in one night, added fire to Becky/Lacey, and kickstarted a new angle that will give Bayley - who probably gave her best promo on the main roster after winning the briefcase - new life and push Charlotte further into the Mad Queen she is destined to be. Dracarys.
Well done all around.

BUT also, Becky is needed on RAW, which we knew. This gave Bayley all the momentum in the world and she has a made feud with Charlotte (who is at her best as a heel but honestly don't think the crowd wants to see her as champ for a while) and opens up a spot for Ember as well.. In all seriousness too, I do think this was a bit of a message to Sasha about the right way and the wrong way to handle being upset. I know WWE isn't always in the right, and I know reports say Bayley also was upset by the Mania match, but you know the difference? Bayley came out and did business. She took whatever heat she got from Mania and took her lumps and got rewarded. |

Kofi Kingston and Bayley are proof that you can reset and reboot a character in one night, even though the female "Money in the Bank" match was a sloppy mess, the winner to the execution of the cash-in couldn't have been done better.
They were able to get the "Smackdown" Women's Championship off of Becky Lynch without dealing the fan uproar of the title being placed back onto the Charlotte Flair.
My only concern is that now we're going to have Bayley feuding with Charlotte over the title for the foreseeable future, which continues Flair being a focal point of the main event picture of either the Smackdown or Raw women's division.
Which I'm rather "Ehhh..." about.

Bayley winning the title was such a feelgood moment. For two years, she was completely wasted and treated like a joke on Raw. The move to Smackdown has done wonders for her, and I was actually excited to see her win the briefcase. Anyone in the live thread will tell you, I lost my mind when the cash-in happened lol I'm so happy for her, she deserves a solid run as Champion and hopefully she gets it on Smackdown and they don't just shift the belt right back to Charlotte.

Not thrilled that Charlotte has yet another reign, but I'm glad something positive came out of all of this. It could easily have been messed up. I would like to see Charlotte away from the title picture for a while as the only time she hasn't been in a title picture the past couple years was when she was injured. Still, it's nice to see good things can happen still considering some of the bs that went down in other parts of the show.

Becky losing a PPV and her first title defense a month after beating Ronda Rousey in the main event of WM is trash i'm sorry. SD title being involved at WM main event makes less sense every day. Sell a few shirts I guess. Also the Charlotte vs Becky rivalry ending on that is so underwhelming. To top it off they air Becky's WWE24 all about her winning those 2 belts. Crap
Save us(and Becky) Sasha..
