Would he had intervene if it wasn’t an incident with his girlfriend?

According to reddit, the fan put his fist on his crotch to imitate...u know when someone masturbates, in front of the Allure. That's disrespectful but doesn't warrant getting spit on Once again i'm assuming he had to say some real foul shit
I dont want to defend Velvet but she calling the fan a virgin and stuff related mightve been in character(she said the same thing about ROH fans on her twitter account), but what Mandy Leon did was unexcusable.

What the f*** has happened to ROH? It's so bad now, and once you get that stink of failure on you as a wrestling company it's very very difficult to get rid of it. Well, I've said it countless times, but here's the gist of it: 1. A few years of booking (Delirious) in which wrestlers that get over fail to make it to the top of the card until long after fans stop caring (i.e. when they are no longer over), if that. 2. Overreliance on New Japan Pro Wrestling, and later The Elite specifically, to get people to attend their shows in the hopes of seeing New Japan Pro Wrestling stars and The Elite and not Ring Of Honor's wrestlers. 3. Ring Of Honor not bothering to try and build their brand, which is likely due to Sinclair not putting any additional money into their company. After all, ROH's "national" exposure was a graveyard slot on Comet TV for about a year. It will likely be the same if they put it on the regional sports networks they bought from Disney that Fox had (key word; IF). 4. Ring Of Honor reminding viewers that only their PPV events matter, making their TV pointless. 5. Bully Ray coming in, and setting up ROH as a club of sorts for his buddies, meaning it'll be more of the same. Once a wrestling company becomes known for incompetence, you can practically write a book about it. It is rather sad to see Ring Of Honor becoming that kind of company, but here we are.

Having security take a rowdy fan aside and asking him to cool it is fine. Kicking a rowdy fan out for disturbing the show is fine.
But dragging him backstage to be intimidated by one of the wrestlers is not ok. Plus it leaves the company open to potential legal problems should anything go down.
Just a bad idea in general. But this is ROH: that’s their m.o. these days.

Super Dragon was just so mean to that one fan who wouldn’t quit chanting his name at that Indy show.

Bully's response doesn't paint his side well. Why bring a fan back for what you think is a fan booing a.heel, say enjoy the show and pat him on the back as he leaves? Seems like Bully is posting less of what he did and is covering something up. Either way, no way should Bully had any interaction with the fan. Terrible mindset that doesn't fly in 2019. In no way should his boss be happy about bring fans backstage, period. This is not the actions of a reputable company and he needs to be put in his place as an employee.

I really doubt this fan did much more make gestures and cussed the girls. The only thing I’m thinking where there could be more to the story is that this fan might be a regular who constantly heckles them and they lost their cool this time.
I totally believe that Bully Ray asked security to bring the fan back all on his own. I don’t think ROH was involved at all. Bully Ray use to brag about Atlas Security always having his back when he’d try to start riots and that they’d even take care of him when he went out to bars after the show. Bully Ray knows the benefits of getting in good with security. A lot of those security guys have been wrestling fans anyway so they’re going to do whatever they’re told to keep the talent happy.

If the guy was being rude to this degree, the professional thing is to have security warn him to cut it out or be ejected. Or just outright eject him. You don't get security to play your personal hired goons so you can intimidate the guy with no real authority and you certainly don't f***ing spit at the guy.

So, this is what happens when the loudest fans are brought backstage? ROH really is the new TNA now! In all seriousness, even if there is chunks of the story missing, there's absolutely no reason for a fan to be brought backstage to be confronted by angry talent. Either eject the fan from the arena, or get the local police involved if he makes a scene. Use the f***ing security you pay for. Yeah, my first question after reading this was "Where were security during all of this?"

well that's amazing. this guy's good natured heckling pissed them off so much that not only did leave his normal position by the TD, not only did he remove his mask that he always wears at shows, but he also cut off his long beard he's had for the past 12 years just so people wouldn't recognize him. guess that explains the technical glitches they had last night, as "Hunter" can been seen standing by the side curtain all night instead of in the back running the show like he always does Update: also this guy sure did seem to get over it at the show pretty quick. jus a few minutes after Bully got up in his face intimidating him, he looked like he was having the most fun in the world high fiving Jeff Cobb and PJ Black

I'm in the camp of not really buying what this fan is peddling, but at the same time there's no reason why a situation like this shouldn't be handled by security, the talent should not be involved, and you can't create that type of liability for the promotion by giving the guy a talking-to backstage, no matter how pure or impure your motives might be.

We've only heard his side, Bully's side, and there's maybe 2 other tweets from fans about what happened. It shouldn't be that hard to find the other 22 people who were in the crowd and then we can get a real consensus on what actually happened.
