I'm just now remembering that they just plain straight up abandoned the story where YOSHI-HASHI was put on the line as if he was a title belt... They didn't abandon the story, Tanahashi told Okada he could keep YOSHI-HASHI after he won the match. Basically, YOSHI-HASHI wasn't even good enough to make Taguchi-Japan. |

 Every time I scroll past this picture, I keep thinking ZSJ is dressed like a priest. Like I've said, if he wasn't Okada's friend he wouldn't even get booked for Zero1 Being Okada's friend absolutely helps him out, but it does seem like NJPW is slow to cut guys. Outside of firing Captain New Japan for gambling, when's the last time they straight-up fired a guy? |

Do you know up until today I had no idea Nick Miller left the WWE last December and is now in NJPW. I genuinely thought he was injured this whole time.

Really feels like Archer is gonna be in the g1. He basically said as much in a NJPW-produced video on YouTube. They have to be increasing the number of competitors this year to fit everyone. |

I realize he's still new to the company, but man, are they making DOUKI look like a bitch. First he ends BOSJ with a whopping 2 points, and now he's taken the fall in 2 consecutive trios matches to YOSHI-f'n-HASHI.

I realize he's still new to the company, but man, are they making DOUKI look like a bitch. First he ends BOSJ with a whopping 2 points, and now he's taken the fall in 2 consecutive trios matches to YOSHI-f'n-HASHI. He's a newbie, so they tend to start them very low, plus he's probably filling in for what TAKA would have been doing. It sucks being the bottom of the totem pole in a stable sometimes. |

He did get Suzuki's seal of approval, so even if he loses, that's a golden ticket. He says he's crazy, they're going to use him as a tool to hurt people, not to win matches. He's in a good spot right now. |

Oh, certainly, the Super Junior tourney is the highest profile stuff he's done so far, and being in SUZUKI-Gun's got to be a sweet thing to put on his resume, especially given he was slotted in at the last minute to fill in for El Desperado. I think it probably will help his future to be a team player and not act like Low Ki at the prospect of putting people over. |

Yeah the collective reaction for Douki's BOSJ announcement was "Who?" He's in the role of Henare; guy who eats the pin in matches while gaining experience and seasoning.
