I'd just like to reiterate that these guys absolutely blow. They are going to be channel changers for AEW. I know they claim there is no war for them, but they'll change their tune when like 500,000 people switch the channel to USA the second these goofs show up.

I'd just like to reiterate that these guys absolutely blow. They're a bunch of fat, pasty, out of shape guys wearing gimp masks who are led by an underachiever. What's so scary about them? It's like if the Monarch was leading a wresting stable, and I feel dirty disparaging the Monarch saying that.

Any time these dudes are on screen I hear this in my head now Ironically I'd say that's probably a genuinely better theme than most of the ones in AEW.

The fat Creeper is my favorite.
I'm going to call him Evil Dos.

There is clearly something wrong when even the Librarians got accepted by the fanbase.

Yeah, I thought they may have gone in the direction they've played it on the indies before where due to their past gimmick being...well, video games (and this one clearly still having that flavor all over it) it was played with more of a sardonic, tongue in cheek way that's almost a commentary on edgelords and amounts to "two nerds trying to be dark and edgy" but can still go in the ring. Instead it's been played more straight and...well, unclear.

Dark Order aren't doing themselves any favors by not being on there.

I almost innately tuned out then to do some laundry. Doesn’t seem like I missed much but damn did I mark out for OC at the end.

I just want them to at least explain what the hell they're supposed to be

On the other hand, once the TNT show starts, they'll have a better opportunity to expand upon things and hopefully flesh them out a bit more.

I blame their helpers. I think AEW thinks they are like Taker's druids, but they look like a bunch of fat perverts. Like Ralphus in a gimp mask.

I've tried to be open-minded, esp since I like weird dark gimmicks, but this isn't working for me.
Not feeling Evil Uno and Tiny Kratos at all. Plus the way Tiny Kratos no sells shit like he's the size of Luchasaurus gets on my nerves.
I made food during this match and came back in time to see OC steal the moment from all of them.

I really feel like the hatred for these guys is overblown
Maybe it's a testament to AEW's talent that these are currently the guys singled out, regarded as one of the more elite tag teams on the scene and they just ain't clicking with people right now
I don't think they'll make a bunch of people change the channel though, not if they flesh out the gimmick. I think they can easily make it work.

I think it's kind of interesting to see what happens with these guys going forward. Not on screen, but behind the scenes- the act has clearly failed to get over, and I want to see how AEW reacts, given that they seem to be fully behind the act. Do they stubbornly stick to their guns and keep the push going? Or do they cut their losses?

I dislike the Orange Cassidy character (he was much better as Fire Ant, imo) but he got more over in 30 seconds than The Dark Order has since Double or Nothing. And that's saying a lot.

I just want them to at least explain what the hell they're supposed to be Yeah, that’s what it boils down to. I honestly thought they worked a very good match last night, played classic tag heels without falling into all the cliches that’s entailed over the past twenty years, but people still just don’t know why they do what they do, they’re gonna need TV for that. If the SSB hadn’t been forced to pull back from the scene for the past few years before this then more fans would have an attachment to them, but the time away from the States and a gimmick that hasn’t been fleshed out yet is overshadowing some very good tag work.
