Might as well just rename it the Man City Cup.
Wolves only 3 points off top 4 after a big 3-2 win at Spurs. Would be cool to see Wolves in the Champs Lge.

Daniel Sturridge has left Trabzonspor after requesting to terminate his contract. It had been expected he would be heading to MLS... but he's been hit with a worldwide ban until June for breaching gambling regulations.

A lot of talk on NBC about Eric Dier and what he did on Wednesday.
I don't agree with him going into the stands but, I fully understand why he did. I also think fans are starting to get a little too fresh and need to be taught a serious lesson. In my opinion, that fan should be banned for life and Dier should be suspended.

Huge three points for United.
Bruno Fernandes has already become so important for this team and Aaron Wan-Bissaka was outstanding.

Man City have lost 3 times to Man Utd this season. Maybe they have had a bad season.
That being said the one time they did beat Man Utd that helped them win a trophy so it’s not all bad for them I guess.

Unless people count losing a leg of a two-legged tie as a loss?

Yeah. They won the first leg of their tie 2-0 and lost the second leg 1-0. They’re still two distinctive matches, so it’s still a loss. I’ve never counted those as a loss. The only score that counts is the one at the end of the tie. The final result of the tie is the one that matters, of course, but the record books still count each individual leg as separate results. For example, United's biggest home win in the Champions League is the 7-1 win against Roma, listed as 7-1, not the 8-3 aggregate score.

I know it’s officially two separate matches but unless it’s a spectacular comeback (like for example the semi finals from the Champions League last year) no one really remembers the individual scores, just who won the match. I can’t remember the semi-final CL results from two years ago, I just remember Liverpool and Real won.

looks like a very large number of euro ties are going to be played behind closed doors and no fans which ironically didn't help spurs as they're getting blasted with pee in leipzig
valencia and atalanta sharing another goalfest, 4-8 in total

With Spurs going another season without a trophy and unsure of being in the top four/five and a CL spot for next season, could there be a few players handing in transfer requests this summer?
