Think Bournemouth & Villa will be going down now after both Watford & West Ham won yesterday. If neither of them win today I think it’s over.

Despite Villa winning, I think it's over for both teams anyway. With their vastly inferior goal differences they have to outpoint Watford and West Ham if they want to stay up, which means winning their remaining fixtures. Neither has won three in a row all season and I don't see them starting now.

right i believe i have this all right so here goes EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS Group A Turkey-Italy 1-2 Wales-Switzerland 2-2 Turkey-Wales 1-1 Italy-Switzerland 0-0 Switzerland-Turkey 2-0 Italy-Wales 1-0 Italy - 7 Pts, 0 GD Switzerland - 5 Pts, 2 GD Wales - 2 Pts, -1 GD Turkey - 1 Pts, -3 GD Group B Denmark-Finland 1-2 Belgium-Russia 3-0 Finland-Russia 2-1 Denmark-Belgium 0-1 Russia-Denmark 0-2 Finland-Belgium 2-2 Belgium - 7 Pts, 4 GD Finland - 7 Pts, 2 GD Denmark - 3 Pts, 0 GD Russia - 0 Pts, -6 GD Group C Austria-North Macedonia 4-1 Netherlands-Ukraine 3-2 Ukraine-North Macedonia 2-1 Netherlands-Austria 0-1 North Macedonia-Netherlands 0-3 Ukraine-Austria 0-0 Austria - 7 Pts, 4 GD Netherlands - 5 Pts, 0 GD Ukraine - 4 Pts, 0 GD North Macedonia - 0 Pts, -7 GD Group D England-Croatia 2-0 Serbia-Czech Republic 1-1 Croatia-Czech Republic 1-0 England-Serbia 1-0 Croatia-Serbia 2-1 Czech Republic-England 1-0 England - 6 Pts, 2 GD Croatia - 6 Pts, 0 GD Czech Republic - 4 Pts, 0 GD Serbia - 2 Pts, -2 GD Group E Poland-Republic of Ireland 2-0 Spain-Sweden 0-0 Sweden-Republic of Ireland 3-2 Spain-Poland 1-0 Republic of Ireland-Spain 2-1 Sweden-Poland 2-3 Spain - 7 Pts, 2 GD Poland - 6 Pts, 2 GD Sweden - 4 Pts, 0 GD Republic of Ireland - 3 Pts, 0 GD Group F Iceland-Portugal 1-3 France-Germany 3-1 Iceland-France 0-2 Portugal-Germany 1-1 Portugal-France 1-2 Germany-Iceland 1-0 France - 9 Pts, 5 GD Portugal - 4 Pts, 1 GD Germany - 4 Pts, -1 GD Iceland - 0 Pts, -5 GD so according to the draw aspects for the round of 16 ... i hope ROUND OF 16 Belgium v Germany Italy v Netherlands France v Ukraine Croatia v Poland Spain v Czech Republic England v Portugal Austria v Sweden Switzerland v Finland so let's find out who is the golden boots, and who gets booted in their golden balls {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} Belgium-Germany 1-1 (2-1 aet) Italy-Netherlands 1-3 France-Ukraine 2-2 (2-2 aet) (5-3 on penalties) Croatia-Poland 0-2 Spain-Czech Republic 1-0 England-Portugal 2-2 (4-2 aet) Austria-Sweden 1-4 Switzerland-Finland 2-3
so after that shock for the germans, who will be the next big team to get shoved into the corner flag!
{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} QUARTER FINALS Belgium v Netherlands France v Poland Spain v England Sweden v Finland
{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} Belgium-Netherlands 1-3 France-Poland 0-0 (0-0 aet) (3-2 on penalties) Spain-England 2-0 Sweden-Finland 2-1
and there is the rub for you english, i'm thinking you don't get past the quarters so the semi finals, one step away from playing for the trophy, and one step away from getting bopped on the head with a wooden spoon by your trophy wife!
{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} Netherlands v France Spain v Sweden
{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} Netherlands-France 1-0 Spain-Sweden 3-1
so no need for extra time there, but will the dutch one-time winners defeat the spanish three-time champions, or will tiki-taki football beat total football?
LETS FIND OUT SHALL WE
{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} 2020 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS FINAL Netherlands-Spain 3-2 ooh what a final that was, it went one way then the other, and in a surprising twist both teams decided to switch shirts like in pele's last game LOOK IT UP YOUNG PEOPLE and in an exciting last ten minutes it was the netherlands who scored the decisive goal whew not bad for the last hour of "work" i'd say coming up the other big tourney, the COPA AMERICA now i can sleep ...

Also Bournemouth’s next game is Man City away so...yeah they are still in big trouble. Arsenal’s defending today was what you would expect. Tiresome as this point really.

Looking at the relegation contenders' remaining fixtures... Bournemouth have City, Southampton, and Everton to play. Villa have Everton, Arsenal, and West Ham. Watford have West Ham, City and Arsenal. West Ham have Watford, United, and Villa. West Ham's fate really is in their own hands. They don't need to beat Watford or Villa, since a draw would be of no value to their opponents, and they're in good goalscoring form, so if I were a Hammers fan I'd be feeling quietly confident right now.

Looks like Leicester’s Champions League hopes are getting slimmer with that news. Unless Man U start slipping up.

That could be one of the most important goals of the season from Obafemi there.

To the surprise of no one, Man City’s European ban is overturned. Considering Monsour probably has all kinds of dirt on UEFA board members and their affiliations with shady stuff in the middle east, that doesn't surprise me in the least bit. Not to mention Real Madrid and Barcelona lie and cheat and break ffp rules left and right with no consequences.

Damn good match, United looked deadly on the attack but Saints just looked better for the majority of the game. Yes, there was a difference in quality visible but with a couple of good signings - who knows?
