I feel for Bournemouth, they have a great young manager, a talented squad and they play really attractive football, they just couldn't seem to get it all to click this season though.

Job done for United, but now comes the very hard decision on David De Gea’s future.
There’s no room for sentimentality here. He’s very clearly lost a step and it’s rare for a goalie about to turn 30 to get it back.
He made another blunder today and Jamie Vardy almost capitalized.
De Gea has been a truly special player for the club over the years and was often the best part of some poor teams, but I think it’s Dean Henderson time.

And if Hawkeye and VAR not somehow missed this: Villa would be the ones heading to the Championship in September. Watching Sky Sports earlier and Roy Keane brought that up. I didn’t even think about it but man that sucks for Bournemouth. First game of the restart as well and it proved crucial.

IIRC, that incident occurred before half-time, so we'll never know if it meant it gave Villa a point. Had the goal stood, Villa might have changed tactics and scored a few goals and won the match. Of course, on the flip side you could say The Blades would have gone on to score more goals and routed Villa. I’ve always maintained with these decisions that unless the incident happens right at the end of the match where there would not be enough tine left for a goal to change a game, then you can’t say that a mistake made by an official kept the final result that way.

It's certainly possible, though obviously it's a £90 million question that will be asked by Bournemouth and the club's fans for the next couple of months. Hopefully they can rebound quickly. They might have a hard time holding onto the likes of Josh King and Calum Wilson, but if they can hold their squad together I think they'll have a good shot at bouncing straight back up.

Also I understand Ryan Fraser’s decision to run out his contract with Bournemouth so he can get a move but he probably isn’t feeling good about himself at the moment. I’m sure Bournemouth fans don’t like him that much.

Adam Lallana joins Brighton on a three-year deal.
Dejan Lovren to Zenit for £11M.

Good moves for both, if Lallana stays fit he will be great for Brighton & everyone knew Lovren's time at the club was up. Two players who were instrumental in the club's rise back to the top. Will always be looked upon with nothing but fondness.

It looks like Bournemouth are taking legal action over the goal line technology error that led to Sheff Utd’s goal against Villa not being given and ultimately leading to Bournemouth’s relegation.

Just a thought but maybe Bournemouth should look at the fact they’ve been absolute dogshit since Christmas instead of pinning their lack of survival on a poor decision halfway through a game they didn’t even play in?

BRENTFORD ARE GOING TO WEMBLEY
after being one down after the first leg against swansea, the final match at griffin park saw the home side score THREE, before the welsh side pulled one back!
and the brentford manager thought it would be a good lark to NOT drop the ball after it went out for a throw in, the swansea player got caught up in some shenanigans AND GOT HIMSELF BOOKED FOR IT THE FOOL
and we are at the quarter final stages of the MLS IS BACK KINDA ...
Philadelphia Union vs. Sporting Kansas City Orlando City SC vs. Los Angeles FC San Jose Earthquakes vs. Minnesota United New York City FC vs. Portland Timbers

Good for Brentford. Feel really bad for their fans though, winning a playoff semi at the last ever game at Griffin Park should have been the perfect sendoff, it needed that one last pitch invasion. That would be been one of their all time great football memories.
Much better than the last day of the prem, the villians winning after a never ending slog, felt like WWE.

Looks like Bournemouth are set to lose their first big player after accepting a £41 million bid from City for Nathan Aké.

New blood in the PL.

Total corruption. The Premier League didn’t have enough evidence to fail the takeover. So with many clubs voting that they weren’t happy about it, and a broadcasting partner being unhappy. They decided to do nothing and let time be the failing of it.
It stinks of the Premier League being under the thumb of the Qataris.
