Well that game only decided to pick up in Extra Time, didn't it?
That goal scorer probably has a lot of big offers coming to him tomorrow.
Honestly I'm mad about that goalkeeper deciding to be a poor sport at the end. Imagine having so little faith in your keeping that you won't let people play for 30 seconds.

experience won over
horrible goalkeeping for that first goal horrible goalkeeping for his yellow card
so wanted brentford to go up, will they keep their top players though like benrahma or watkins?

If Grealish leaves Villa, he'd be a good replacement. Wolves and Leicester could be interested if any of their in-demand midfielders move to bigger clubs.

I know some Leagues have already started their 20/21 Seasons but I’ll keep this thread open until the Champions/Europa League have finished.

Man Brentford v Fulham was a dreadful game.
I wanted Brentford to go up but they blew it when it mattered really. They should have gone up automatically but end up not going up at all.
Congrats to Fulham & Scott Parker. Always liked Fulham as a club and been to Craven Cottage many times. Hopefully Parker has a bright future as a manager ahead of him.
Just don’t waste over £100 million in transfers this time though yeah!

Also when this madness is over, Craven Cottage is right in London and a nice size for an AEW arena show.

I think Fulham will do better this time around (although I had them tipped to do well last time to be fair), the squad has far more Premiership experience now and looks short of maybe a couple of players this time rather than needing an entire restructure. I hope they do well, my Grandad was a Fulham supporter and it would be nice to see another young English manager in Scott Parker do well too.

I got the impression that Fulham didn't approach the promotion smartly and had bad chemistry in the premiership. Also i have to ask people in England this, a lot of pundits that follow soccer and report in the US are claiming that Fulham was able to turn it around because Tony Khan took more 9f an active role in running the club and transfers. Im gonna guess that is a bit fabricated?

Im gonna guess that is a bit fabricated? I mean, it's not beyond the realms of possibility but seems unlikely. As a club, they've been relatively quiet in terms of transfers, they only brought in one player this season (Anthony Knockaert) and only three permanent transfers last season (as well as two free transfers) so the core of the squad that was in the Premiership last time is still there. There's also a new regime in charge of coaching the team since last time around too headed by Scott Parker. Last time around they bought essentially an entirely new squad and ended up going through three different managers if you include Parkers caretaker role so I think the issues were more to do with a lack of stability and perhaps poor preparation than anything else. It'll be interesting to see how they approach the market this summer, but with the world as it is at the minute, I would expect them to do minimal business and lineup pretty much as they have done in the Championship barring any major departures.

Alexis Sánchez has joined Inter on a permanent basis on a free transfer.
He'll easily go down as one of the worst Premier League signings of all time... if not the worst.

In terms of high profile ones, who else would be up there? I'm thinking Juan Sebastian Veron. Definitely Veron, given he flopped spectacularly at United and Chelsea. Others that come to mind are Michel Owen (Newcastle), Fernando Torres, Andrej Shevchenko (both Chelsea), and Sergei Rebrov (Tottenham). Can't forget Radamel Falcao continuing Veron's legacy of failing at Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge, either.
