The Bournemouth exodus continues, Aaron Ramsdale has rejoined Sheffield United, following Eddie Howe, Nathan Aké, Jordon Ibe, Artur Boruc, Charlie Daniels, Andrew Surman, and Simon Francis out the exit.
Looking like a long, hard season ahead for the Cherries.

Looking like a long, hard season ahead for the Cherries. Five (six including Howe) were released though, clearly weren't considered good enough to continue for the club. Made nearly £60m on the sale of two players too, reinvest that sensibly and no reason why they won't be back up next season.

the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE has gone to ... BAYERN MUNICH
a single goal separated them and PSG in a techy first half, but a second half that strung out both sides, but it was the germans who saw it out to the end!

Honestly, great game apart from Neymar being Neymar.
Also to show how weird this season has been, the Community Shield is on Saturday, meaning the last game of one season and the official start of the next are separated by less than a week.

The first qualifying rounds of the 2020-21 Europa League and Champions League kicked off over a week before the 2019-20 competitions finished. It's been a weird summer.

Lionel Messi tells Barca he wishes to leave.
He has an annual opt-out clause in his contract, which is what he’s trying to exercise, but the club says the window for that closed in June and his release clause stands at £700M.
Clearly this is far from over.
Should he leave, I can’t imagine there are more than four or five teams who could sign him.
I think City is the most obvious destination due to Pep, but I think Inter, PSG, United and Juve will also be interested.
Another thing - Messi is an Adidas player. Will they try to direct him to one of their clubs?

Will they try to direct him to one of their clubs? Realistically I’m not sure he will be able to leave until next summer when his contract runs out. No club is ever paying 700 million but I’m sure Barca would except 100+ rather than lose him for free.
