Ok, so in the Revelation comic book today, {Spoiler}{Spoiler}You get a little more detail on how Skeletor had first hand knowledge of the Hall of Wisdom (Grayskull's true guise) and we get appearances not just from Hordak, but all of the Hoard toyline, it also does indeed go with the the mini-comics origin for Skeletor, where he belongs to a whole race of skeleton people, and has a wife and child. His wife is brutally killed at one point. However, at the end of the issue It's implied this recollection of his own personal history may not be entirely accurate, as Evil Lyn suspects {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}The Filmation show took from Skeletor's mini-comic origin, saying he was a "demon from another dimension".
But it looks like they want it both ways with "maybe it's a lie". Like somehow Skeletor suddenly remembers he's Keldor or something.

My fiancee was laughing that Skeletor was basically Hamill using his Joker voice For someone who is respected as a voice actor as muchnas he is for being Luke Skywalker, the three roles I've heard him do are basically the same voice. He essentially did Majima in the original PS2 Yakuza English dub in his Joker voice.

He essentially did Majima in the original PS2 Yakuza English dub in his Joker voice. Then there was Hobgoblin in Fox Spider-Man, also Joker in another character's body. I think Hamill just has his own voice and the Joker voice.

When's the second half? Seems like the show's been lost in the shuffle with the CGI series coming. To some of you, that might be a good thing.

These sweet sweet toys. Usually I'm a cherry picker, but I'm gonna have to set aside some dough for this line. They look awesome.

No idea why they're waiting that long, as they picture-locked everything last month. I liked Revelation, though I had my issues with it, and I can understand why a lot were ticked off with it. I'm not as heated about it as I was earlier in the summer when it came out, I only got like that when everyone chose to throw the classic series under the bus to prop this one up. It's still way better than the modern She-Ra.

Kind of sucks it's taking so long for the second half, am looking forward to it. I certainly didn't like it as much as She-Ra but still really enjoyed it.

My fiancee was laughing that Skeletor was basically Hamill using his Joker voice I thought it was the right way to go. Also, it didn't sound like Joker personality wise. And its the same actor. So yeah, while some voice actors have a wider range, at the end of the day its gonna sound like Mark Hamill.

So yeah, while some voice actors have a wider range, at the end of the day its gonna sound like Mark Hamill. And ultimately a lot of times Mark Hamill will be hired to voice a villain because his Joker is that well known; you’ll get a director saying “you know who’s be perfect for this role?”, because they have that voice in mind. That said, Hamill’s enunciation as other villains is usually pretty distinct from his Joker voice. Dude voiced Ozai in Avatar and Skek-Tek in the Dark Crystal series, and while you can tell both are Hamill and hear traces of his Joker voice at different moments it’s clearly him approaching each in their own way.

I doubt the 'backlash' had anything to do with a delay, any more than it did She-ra's eventual cancellation. The people who yelled loudest will claim victory when the next Arc is more He-man focussed and filled with even deeper levels of fanwank, even if it was the plan all along.
There's another Motu series on the horizon, any delay will have been planned well in advance to avoid treading on those toes.

Rob David was asked at Powercon when part two is dropping, and it looks like the plan to drop it next year may have changed, Rob implied it'll be out towards the end of this year around the holidays.
...Which makes far more sense considering the big push for christmas toys and wanting to compete with merchandise and buzz for other major franchises getting releases that month
